I had plans near Sinnonhyeon Station, close to Gangnam Station! It had been ages since I'd been to Gangnam, and it was absolutely packed~~ After agonizing over where to go for a long while, I ended up at Bakerist Brown, whose stylish vibe caught my eye. It's a bakery near Sinnonhyeon Station, but the café is spacious too, and the bread was seriously good.
What are the location and atmosphere of Bakerist Brown like?

Bakerist Brown is within a 10-minute walk of Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 6. The shop is big, and it's a Gangnam Station café with a great-looking exterior.

Most cafés in Gangnam are almost completely full, so finding a seat isn't easy, but Bakerist Brown is quite large, so I found one fairly quickly. First mission, securing a seat: success ><

The 1st floor of Bakerist Brown is filled with baked goods, but so many people come that things sell out fast! As you'd expect from a Sinnonhyeon Station bakery, there's a wide variety of bread. Love it!

There are plenty of seats, and the overall mood is casual, neither too quiet nor too noisy, so it seemed perfect as a meeting spot with friends. I had a little time before my friend arrived, so I went downstairs to order some bread first. I'd come to a bakery café, so I felt I had to try the bread. 😊
What time should you go to a Sinnonhyeon Station bakery for the most bread?

Later in the day, Bakerist Brown's display shelves are quite empty, so if you want to try a variety of bread, I recommend going before 4 PM. I read that it's also famous as a salt bread spot near Gangnam Station, so I ordered salt bread and an egg tart too, haha
Oh, and I also ordered a sweet cookie set to give to my friend, and this,,,,, was honestly the best cookie ever><>< If you're looking for a cookie gift near Gangnam Station, this is it.
How do the salt bread, egg tart and black sesame latte taste?

I ordered a black sesame latte for my coffee, then came upstairs to dig into the bread properly.

The egg tart was really soft and sweet, and they say the salt bread is quite famous around Gangnam Station,, and sure enough, it was plain-savory without being too buttery, and really delicious.

I usually don't expect much from the bread at big cafés, but Bakerist Brown has a spacious café and, even in Gangnam Station, is a truly delicious bakery.

The black sesame latte was very satisfying too. The nutty black sesame flavor comes through strongly, and the ratio with the cream on top is just right, so I enjoyed it to the last sip without it feeling heavy. It isn't too sweet and the nuttiness really shines, so it pairs well with bread.

Solo café time until my friend arrived~ Eating something sweet put me in a great mood. A bakery near Sinnonhyeon Station that's this good, nice nice, haha
How much is the cream biscuit gift set, and how does it taste?

I remember the Bakerist Brown cookie set costing around ₩14,000. Of all the cream biscuits I've had, it had one of the most refined flavors, sweet but not overdone, and every bite was satisfying. There was a variety of flavors, so picking among them was fun, and it went really well with coffee.

Above all, the packaging is neat, so I thought it would make a good gift to bring along. It's been a long time since a single cookie moved me this much~~~ haha
Today's one-line review
✔️ A highly satisfying café that's great as a meeting spot and lets you pick up a dessert gift too.
It was a café where I spent a satisfying time on my first visit to Gangnam in a while. The spacious interior made it easy to chat comfortably, and both the bread and drinks beat my expectations, which made it even more memorable. Besides the salt bread, I really hope you'll try the biscuit set. Like me, you might have a "wow, a cookie can move you this much!" moment. 😊

I was so sure by then that Bakerist Brown is a top bakery near Sinnonhyeon Station that I took a banana pudding to go on my way out, and it was also seriously amazing!! Definitely a great bakery in Gangnam~~~~ If you're looking for a bakery café with a nice atmosphere near Gangnam Station or Sinnonhyeon Station, give Bakerist Brown a visit. 😊 It's a place I'd love to stop by again next time I'm in Gangnam ^^
