The atmosphere at Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch is exactly like the name suggests — a retro feel that captures the vibe of Euljiro's pocha bars! But it's not cramped and uncomfortable like an old-school pocha — the tables have decent space, so it's good for sitting with a group!!!! The retro vibe kicks in right from the entrance 🩶 We took a photo together at the entrance too.

I personally love this kind of atmosphere so I was already excited the moment we sat down haha. Rather than a quiet place where you just eat, you can hear people chatting, there's music playing, and there's that whole lively vibe unique to Guro bars 😆😆

They've got everything inside — utility poles, streetlights, even asphalt flooring like a real street, so it really captures that Euljiro street-tent atmosphere!

This was my first time trying the Saero omija (schisandra berry) flavor and it's so my style~?~??~?🩷🩷 tastes about as good as the apricot flavor!!!!

Boneless dakdoritang for ₩27,000 was the dish I was most looking forward to that day! 🐔 Being boneless made it easy to eat, and best of all, since it's a broth-based dish, it paired really well with drinks!!!

With dakdoritang, it's always better with udon noodles scooped up with the runny broth rather than just eating the chicken alone, right? Hahaha

It's spicy with a savory depth, the kind of flavor that makes you take a bite then a sip of alcohol hahaha. I hadn't drunk in a while so I wondered if it would even go down, but the food was so good that day I just kept eating 😅

And then my absolute favorite, egg rolls haha 🥚🍳 The cheese egg rolls at Eulji Pocha are ₩9,000. You know that feeling when ordering egg rolls at a bar just makes the table look more full and satisfying?

It's especially good paired with a spicy dish — perfect combo! With the cheese added it's savory and soft, which also made it good for resetting your palate in between bites hahaha

Ordering it together with the dakdoritang gave us a spicy dish + soft dish combo, so the balance for two people was pretty good hahaha. And there's actually something else fun here too haha 🎮

Eulji Stationery coin games and one very crumpled dalgona

The part that turned out to be the most fun at Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch was, surprisingly, the 💰coin event💰 — the 🎉🎉Eulji Stationery Event🎉🎉. The store gives you coins, and with them you can play the claw machine, make dalgona candy, make cotton candy, get snacks, take photos at the Eulji photo booth, or get ice cream!!!

Yeah, I totally bombed the claw machine...? But there were people who managed to grab something... Feeling salty about failing, after we finished eating that day we went on a whole tour of claw machine shops near Guro Digital Complex Station hahahahaha 😆🩶

I made dalgona candy!!🌝 You put in sugar, once it melts you tap in baking soda, stir it around quickly, then pour it onto the sugar plate — but what is this...?....

Is this even right....?.... it turned into a crumpled dalgona 🥲 But it was sweet, so great job anyway 🫶🏻🤍

These days a lot of bars are just about eating and leaving, so having little activities like this scattered in between seemed like it would be fun to do with friends too ♥️♥️ So this place felt less like just a Guro bar for drinking and more like an event pocha with things to do 🎉🎊
