Gwacheon hair salon root dye and mid-length trim for frizz: Juno Hair
In short
Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station (준오헤어 과천청사역점) is a hair salon in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi, near Exit 11 of Government Complex Gwacheon Station. The writer had a root dye and a cut from Yuha, a designer who specializes in mid-length hair, to tidy back hair left messy by frequent dyeing and perms; although only the roots were dyed, Yuha matched the overall tone and gave the cut a light trim. With a clean new shop, a pre-service survey that even asks whether you want to chat, and a long, thorough shampoo, Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station is a Gwacheon salon worth going back to.

Welcome tea and the pre-service survey
When you walk into Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station, you're greeted with welcome tea, and the first thing you do is fill out a survey. It has lots of specific questions, like whether you have a hairstyle in mind and whether you'd like to chat during the service or have it done in silence. I loved that 🖤
Honestly, after work I'm often so exhausted that I just want a quiet appointment, so this kind of thoughtfulness really touched me!
Atmosphere and cleanliness at Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station

The atmosphere and the cleanliness are the best of the best 🌿 Seriously, I've never been to a salon with such a good vibe..... Getting your hair done while looking out at a fresh, green view feels amazing.
Whenever I want to change my hairstyle and heal a little, I'll definitely run to Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa. Just sitting there quietly cures my stress......

It feels like a cozy café rather than a hair salon~ And since it's a newly opened shop, everything is sparkling clean, so even a clean freak like me could relax and enjoy my styling.
Before: messy back hair and the root dye cycle

I came to Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station for a cut and a root dye. As you can see, I wanted to cut off the messy back of my hair from all the frequent dyeing and perms, and it was also time for a root touch-up, so I wanted to do that too.
I never see the back of my own head so I had no idea, but it was really messy 🥹 The length was awkward, and the ends looked frizzy and fried toward the bottom, oh my god.. I'm so grateful to designer Yuha for neatly reviving this hair... ☆

How did the root dye go?
At Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station, the dye was done before the cut, and the color was applied carefully all over. After it was applied, they gave me a drink and a snack while I waited, which filled my hungry belly ☕ It's not even a café, so why is the iced tea from a hair salon this good?

A long, careful shampoo and massage
And the shampoo at Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station was pure heaven.. A tall woman washed my hair, and she took such a long, careful time that I was truly moved. The massage felt so good too 🥹😭 This is the first salon where the shampoo was so moving that I wanted to go back again…

Root dye and mid-length cut: the result
Ta-da~ My patchy hair came back neat and fresh, right? I only had the roots done, but designer Yuha cleverly matched the overall tone too 😮👍🏻
And she gave me a light cut I really love..! There's a reason she's known as a mid-length specialist.

I took these photos of my hair when I went out. What do you think? Personally, I love the length and the cut styling 🪄 It's real luck to have a salon I like this much near my home~! If you're looking for a great hair spot in Gwacheon, I highly recommend Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station.
