Pyu Euljiro (퓨 을지로, written PHEW) is a Western restaurant on Mareunnae-ro in Euljiro 3-ga, and it looks lovely from the outside. Euljiro has plenty of good eateries and bars, but clean, upscale restaurants are harder to spot, right? It's definitely hip, but if you want people to say you picked a great spot for a blind date or a date, this Euljiro restaurant is exactly what women tend to love.

Visit in the evening and the soft lighting is gorgeous. Visit during the day and the full glass windows let in lots of natural light. It's a newly opened place, so it's really clean and pretty.

At Pyu Euljiro you can enjoy good food with a range of drinks: wine, non-alcoholic options and beer. Personally, I'd give it big thumbs up for dates, blind dates and wedding invitation get-togethers.

What does the craft beer at Pyu Euljiro taste like?

Pyu Euljiro serves Art Monster craft beer, said to be world champion beers that have won 28 international beer awards~!! I ordered First Love Scent and Cheongdam Daughter-in-law: a Belgian-style wheat beer and a Vienna lager! I was so curious how they'd taste.

Cheongdam Daughter-in-law (청담동며느리) ₩8,000

Art Monster's Cheongdam Daughter-in-law is a mellow, smooth beer with caramel and nutty cookie aromas. It's a little heavier than fruity beers, but the flavor is deep! When was the last time I had a beer with such a good aroma!

First Love Scent (첫사랑의 향기) ₩9,000

First Love Scent has orange peel, coriander and even Jeju tangerine juice in it, so it's really fresh and zesty. This one went straight to my heart.

Two pastas at Pyu Euljiro: what did we order?

To pair with the craft beer, I ordered two dishes at Pyu Euljiro: the mackerel pasta and the bisque pasta ♡ I picked them because the place felt like a total pasta spot, and today my choice was really right. It would be great for a daytime brunch too!

Mackerel pasta (삼치파스타) ₩30,000

The mackerel pasta here is true to its fish: not fishy at all, and very mellow. It was my first time having a fish pasta topped with Spanish mackerel. The white fish sits on a light, clean oil pasta with a touch of spice, and my mouth felt so fresh afterward.

It's good eating the mackerel and pasta together, and it's also good the way I did it: enjoy the mackerel first like a steak, then eat the pasta separately.

Light and healthy, like a salad pasta! As Pyu Euljiro's signature dish, it really was delicious ♡ It was such a special dish that I was happy.

Bisque pasta (비스큐 파스타) ₩26,000

The bisque pasta comes with two huge shrimp and a thick, rich sauce. See the bubbles? That's champagne foam on top, adding a fresh tang. Deep, rich flavor of the sea plus freshness!

For me, this is the most delicious pasta restaurant in Euljiro. It's not the ordinary pasta you get anywhere; it's on another level ♡ So this is what fancy pasta is! Looking at the menu, there were lots of dishes I'd never come across before.

Does Pyu Euljiro have private or group seating?

Inside Pyu Euljiro there's a separate private space where you can dine in a room-like setting, plus group seating. While eating beer and pasta, I wandered into the inner space too. It would be great for anniversaries and get-togethers, right?

The space is roomy and clean, so I'd strongly recommend Pyu Euljiro for dates and blind dates ♡ Have brunch in the bright daytime mood, then wine or a beer under the atmospheric lights in the evening!
