Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon location and parking

The address is 31 Gangnam-daero 79-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul, 1st floor, and it's a station-area café that takes less than 2 minutes on foot from Sinnonhyeon Station. Parking for drivers is paid: ₩900 per 30 minutes, up to ₩43,200, so if you're bringing a car, parking could be a headache. Public transport like mine is probably the easier way.

Who is Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon good for?

I'd recommend Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon to anyone who wants to work quietly on a laptop or read a book alone. I hadn't eaten breakfast and was running around all day, so I came for a late lunch. I'd heard it's a great sandwich spot in Sinnonhyeon!

It's perfect if eating a full meal alone feels like too much, and you want to grab a light bite while studying. The sandwich was really good and the coffee was good too, so I left in a great mood haha.

Solo seats like a study café

Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon has plenty of solo seats, so you can come alone and still enjoy yourself. I really liked that the seats are set up like a study café. People were sitting in the back so I couldn't take a photo, but there are about 5 of these seats in a row, so you can work on a laptop or with a book with a bit more freedom from other people's eyes.

An outlet at every seat, 2-hour limit

And every solo seat has an outlet. What a thoughtful touch!!!!! My phone battery was at just 3% and I was panicking, so I was so happy the café had outlets like this. You can use these seats for 2 hours :)

Sandwich lineup at Selecto Coffee

The sandwiches at Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon are salmon, sweet pumpkin, chicken and ricotta! I was really craving the ricotta sandwich, but it was sold out, so I picked chicken. The bread was so good that I'm planning to go back for the ricotta!

The chicken sandwich is excellent too. Good, good!!

Can you print at a café near Sinnonhyeon Station?

Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon isn't just open 24 hours, it also has a copier, so you can print too. I always rush to a PC bang (Korean internet café) to print, and I really hate PC bangs because of the cigarette smell hahaha.

Once I was working on my laptop in a hurry and suddenly needed to send a fax, and I panicked in a café. If I'd known about the 24-hour Selecto, I wouldn't have had to wander around PC bangs. Being able to print in such a pleasant environment is killing two birds with one stone, right~~

Instructions for using the printer, which is much cheaper than a PC bang, are posted too. You can even pay by card easily, so it's truly the cutting-edge era haha.

Selecto Coffee chicken sandwich for ₩7,000: how does it taste?

The recommended menu item at Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon is the chicken sandwich (₩7,000). Both the filling and the bread are soft and delicious.

The cherry tomatoes inside were so good!! Selecto's chicken sandwich made me realize, I like sandwiches... Honestly I was so curious about the ricotta cheese sandwich too! It was a shame it sold out. If there's something you want to eat like I did, don't make a wasted trip; it's a good idea to check with the café first.

Do you know what this bread is like? At bakeries like Paris Baguette, the sandwich bread is usually plain white sandwich bread or dry rye bread, and I would never pay for that. But Selecto's sandwich is really good. A taste nobody will dislike, lol. I get why the popular items sell out...

It's an ordinary sandwich, the kind where you'd say "this is supposed to be good?", but once you eat it you'll know... the bread is so good. The filling is hearty, not salty, not sweet, and the sauce is just right. I strongly recommend it as a meal replacement.

Mocha americano and Geisha americano for ₩3,800

Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon is a place where the mocha americano and Geisha americano (₩3,800) are delicious. I didn't expect much from a 24-hour café, but it's a real coffee spot.

I had the mocha americano hot and ordered the Geisha iced. Even iced, the Geisha had a subtle floral aroma that made it more flavorful, and I enjoyed it. It's just as described. The mocha americano is rich, and drinking it hot and warm made it even better. It's exactly as the description says: not a dry, bitter chocolate taste but a cherry-like chocolate taste. I recommend both, so choose to your taste :)

After eating the sandwich, I thought the salad must be good too... it was a very, very fresh sandwich.

Besides coffee, Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon has various teas and smoothies, including the trendy ube latte.

Atmosphere inside Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon

Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon is spacious and not chilly from the air conditioning, a really nice environment. Pleasantness itself. In summer, taking refuge in the 24-hour Selecto Sinnonhyeon café is the right answer.

There are cakes, and even snacks and jelly candies. Looks like there's nothing they don't have here~~

A 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station with a terrace

I was surprised that Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon even has terrace seats outside! So pretty, right haha. On a cool summer night, I bet a glass of iced coffee on the terrace would wash away all your fatigue. It runs unmanned at night, so please keep that in mind :)
