The weather these days is seriously insane. When I have plans, going outside is downright scary... you really learn to appreciate indoor things to do.. I was in Jamsil not long ago and found a really, really great place! An indoor space where you can relax comfortably and there's tons to do: One Play Jamsil Branch.
Where One Play Jamsil Branch is and how to get there
One Play Jamsil Branch is close to both Sports Complex Station and Jamsilsaenae Station! It's within walking distance. It's inside the eatery alley (meokja golmok), so it was easy to find.

It's a One Play board game café that uses floors 2 and 3, and it's one of the biggest multi-culture spaces in Jamsil! Perfect for anyone looking for things to do in Jamsil.

How to enter: slippers on floor 2, choose a plan on floor 3
There's a restroom in the building too! Change into indoor slippers on floor 2, then go up to floor 3 and choose a plan. Put your shoes in the shoe locker and take the key up with you!

There's mother-of-pearl (jagae) decoration beside the stairs that caught my eye. You can feel they put thought into the interior everywhere. Great vibes.

Board games, manga, OTT and Nintendo Switch all in one place
One Play Jamsil Branch is a space where you can enjoy board games, OTT, manga and Nintendo Switch all at once. To rent a Nintendo, just ask at the counter. Highly recommended as an indoor spot in Jamsil.

Pricing: the ₩10,000 weekday unlimited pass
There are lots of plans. There's even a ₩10,000 weekday unlimited pass, so if you visit on a weekday you can have fun at a really cheap price!! Wow. Even without the unlimited pass, the prices are reasonable. It'd be great for students on school break too!!

You pay when you leave! KakaoPay works too! A manga café in Jamsil worth visiting.

They sell cake too, so I think choosing One Play Jamsil instead of a regular café is a good idea. Coffee and cake while watching Netflix or playing Switch, perfect!! A Nintendo café in Jamsil.

Manga on floor 3, board games on floor 2
Floor 3 of One Play Jamsil Branch has lots of manga too! You can read whatever you like. The interior is really clean. Manga wasn't my goal, so I headed down to floor 2.

Floor 2 has board games lined up everywhere. They even had Kkochi-ui Dalin (Skewer Master), which I love, so that was nice.

Private rooms that are great for working alone
There are private, independent spaces like this, so you can pick the spot you want and settle in. Lots of people were playing Nintendo Switch games.

Even retro game consoles!! Definitely the best indoor date spot in Jamsil.
You can watch OTT too, so Netflix, YouTube, TVING, Disney+ and so on, whatever content I'd been wanting to watch. I came because I had things to do, and there was a table inside, so I could conveniently spread out my notebook and iPad! Being a separate space, it felt like a study room, which I liked. But it's not stuffy, it's lively, so it's like a good, buzzing study room lol

They even have a room-cleaning bell, which felt really thoughtful.

Ordering from your seat with an NFC card
Tap your phone on this card thing they gave me and you can order food using NFC! The Wi-Fi info is on it too!

The food was so varied it surprised me! The lineup and menu are right on target for MZ-generation tastes. You can have a meal, plus drinks and dessert, so it's a really good place for an all-day indoor date.

Kimchi fried rice and Supreme cola-pop chicken
I ordered the kimchi fried rice and the Supreme cola-pop chicken.

Hot, with lots of sauce, and absolutely delicious!! Dinner sorted, and then some.

I noticed when paying that the list of Nintendo chips is huge. You can play pretty much any game here!! Officially the best manga café in Jamsil.
With the heat outside, I got my to-dos done in a cool indoor space, had a delicious dinner, and it was a happy visit. I highly recommend One Play Jamsil Branch to anyone looking for indoor things to do in Jamsil or Songpa!
