Gangseo Seoul Korean restaurant for beef tripe nakgopsae: Gungmin
In short
Gungmin Nakgopsae Gangseo Branch is a Korean restaurant near Balsan Station in Gangseo, Seoul, serving nakgopsae and hot pots. We cooked the medium beef tripe nakgopsae and finished with flying-fish-roe fried rice; the spicy broth and rich tripe were such a good match. Verdict: a generously portioned pick for a meal or drinks.

Beef tripe nakgopsae near Balsan Station
It is a 7-minute walk from Exit 6 of Balsan Station, and just a 1-minute walk from the Balsan Station and Ujangsan Hillstate bus stops 🚏🚍

Gungmin Nakgopsae Gangseo Branch (국민낙곱새 강서점) is close to the exit, so it is easy to get to, and it is on the first floor of the building (๑•᎑< ๑)♡ There is a menu board even before you walk in, which makes it handy to see all the different options at a glance 🤍❤️

The parking lot is behind the building, and it is spacious enough to visit without worrying about parking 🚗🚘 There is plenty of room to park comfortably, so I think it would be easy for anyone arriving by car too ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

What are the seating and facilities like?
The dining room has high ceilings and feels pleasant and airy ✨ There are tables for two through six people, making it perfect for dates, family gatherings, or company dinners 💟 You can order from the kiosk at each table.

The restroom is clean and located inside the restaurant‼️ The women's restroom in particular is kept very clean, so it is convenient to use ლ(◕ᗜ◕ლ)

Review event and how to eat nakgopsae
Disposable aprons are available in one corner of the restaurant. For a receipt photo review event, you can choose one item from extra ingredients, thin-sliced beef belly, or a can of soft drink; for a video review event, you can choose one item from fried rice plus flying fish roe, pineapple sherbet, or a highball ❣️ It is available once per table only, and only for uploads made that day. There are instructions for enjoying nakgopsae and gopchang jeongol (beef intestine hot pot), so they are worth checking out ๑>ᴗ<๑

Beef tripe nakgopsae and flying-fish-roe fried rice
The side dishes include perilla leaves, mayonnaise, kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi), pickled radish wraps, cabbage dongchimi (watery radish kimchi), and seaweed soup. If it feels spicy, it is even tastier eaten with perilla leaves and pickled radish wraps (๑•᎑< ๑)♡
The Gungmin Nakgopsae Gangseo Branch menu has nakgopsae, hot pots, dakdoritang (spicy braised chicken), chicken feet, add-ons, drinks, alcohol, and review-event options ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ We ordered the medium beef tripe nakgopsae and flying-fish-roe fried rice 🥰❤️

Our medium beef tripe nakgopsae arrived ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ The portion is seriously generous, with octopus, Korean beef large intestine, shrimp, rice cakes, and glass noodles ✨ First, stir it evenly so the glass noodles do not stick to the bottom 💕 Once the onions turn translucent and the rice cakes are cooked, lower the heat to level 5 and boil for another 2 to 3 minutes 🦐🔥 Then lower it to level 2 to keep it warm while you eat.

The broth is pleasantly spicy and full of umami, the kind of flavor that keeps you reaching back in ლ(◕ᗜ◕ლ) With generous pieces of octopus, shrimp, and Korean beef large intestine, it is fun picking out all the ingredients too ✨ I especially loved the beef tripe 🫶 Its rich, fatty flavor goes perfectly with the spicy broth, so they are such a great match together 💟
Because it is a spicy dish, I kept thinking as I ate that it would be perfect with drinks too 🍻🍺 It would go so well with soju. Even for me, someone who is not great with spicy food, it was not overwhelmingly hot—just deliciously spicy—so I could enjoy it without any pressure ๑>ᴗ<๑

Finish with flying-fish-roe fried rice
And after beef tripe nakgopsae, there is something you just cannot pass up..⭐️ We ordered flying-fish-roe fried rice, and they stir-fry it with both the roe and a raw egg (๑•᎑< ๑)♡ The egg makes the rice softer and richer, while the roe adds little popping bites throughout, so it is seriously delicious 💕 I was already fairly full, but there is always room for fried rice 😂

Having the beef tripe nakgopsae for that spicy kick and finishing with the flying-fish-roe fried rice felt like a truly satisfying full meal ✨ Gungmin Nakgopsae Gangseo Branch had generous portions overall, with a spicy dish that worked well as both a meal and something to have with drinks 🥰 If you especially love beef tripe and shrimp, I recommend trying the beef tripe nakgopsae 👍 The combination of spicy nakgopsae and rich Korean beef large intestine worked better than I expected, and ending with the flying-fish-roe fried rice made it the perfect course 🤍❤️
