Yangju bakery café with 140-space parking for new drivers: Doasis
In short
Doasis is a newly opened large bakery café in Deokjeong-dong, Yangju, Gyeonggi, set in a remodeled former bathhouse building on a site of about 2,000 pyeong. A new driver parked easily in the Doasis lot, which holds up to 140 cars, then had coffee with a pollack roe baguette, a white roll, six-clove garlic bread and a cream cheese brioche among real Jeju palm trees and green tangerine trees indoors. What kind of café is Doasis in Yangju?
Doasis is a newly opened large bakery café in Deokjeong-dong, Yangju. It's easy to reach from Seoul, and the botanical-garden-like atmosphere in the middle of the city makes it a great outing spot.
Friends nearby had recommended it as a great-vibe café, and I was secretly curious. After visiting in person, I understood exactly why they praised it so much. It was refreshing to find this kind of healing space just a little outside the city.

Is parking at Doasis easy even for a new driver?
Doasis's parking lot is spacious enough to fit up to 140 cars, so even a new driver like me could park comfortably. Finding parking is always the first thing I check before visiting a large café.

Whenever you head out to the outskirts, a tight parking lot tends to make you anxious before you even arrive, but Doasis's lot was extremely spacious. Thanks to that, even as a new driver, I could finish parking with peace of mind without circling around looking for a spot.

A 2,000-pyeong building converted from an old bathhouse, 5 minutes from Deokjeong Station
The Doasis building used to be a large public bathhouse, cleverly remodeled. I was struck again by the scale when I first saw the building — with a site of about 2,000 pyeong, the actual scale was far more impressive than it looked from outside.
It's about a 5-minute walk from Deokjeong Station Exit 1, so it seemed convenient to reach by public transit too.

What is the interior atmosphere at Doasis like?
Inside, Doasis feels like a lush green botanical garden transplanted straight from Jeju Island. As you step inside, a cute dokkaebi (Korean goblin) neon sign greets you.

You can order at your own pace at the kiosk near the entrance. The moment I opened the door and stepped inside, I genuinely gasped at the atmosphere that unfolded.

The ceilings are high and open, so it felt like being inside a massive greenhouse botanical garden, or at some Jeju Island resort.

What's especially striking is that these aren't artificial trees — real palm trees brought directly from Jeju stand tall and grand, and real green tangerines were even growing among the branches. Just sipping coffee while looking at that lush greenery was enough to feel like a healing moment in nature.
How is the bread displayed at Doasis?
Hygienic display and bakery items that go well with coffee

All of Doasis's bread is kept inside glass display cases, so it's never exposed to outside air. The variety of bakery items also caught my eye — the display method was very clean and hygienic, which I loved, and I could pick items with confidence.
They bake around 50 kinds of bread fresh in-store every day, so it was genuinely fun to choose.

What did I order at Doasis and how much was it?
At Doasis I ordered iced americano, iced latte, latte, pollack roe baguette (₩7,000), white roll (₩7,000), six-clove garlic bread (₩6,500), and cream cheese brioche (₩5,000). The coffee, made with high-quality beans, and the various drinks to go with it were also excellent.

- Pollack roe baguette (₩7,000): great savory depth
- White roll (₩7,000): soft and sweet
- Six-clove garlic bread (₩6,500): rich flavor
- Cream cheese brioche (₩5,000)
- Drinks: iced americano, iced latte, latte
Each bread was high quality and paired wonderfully with the coffee, so we finished everything without leftovers. Besides bakery items, Doasis also sells brunch menus like pizza, pasta, and salad, plus beer, so it looked like a great spot for a gathering with a meal included.

Can you bring dogs or kids to Doasis?
At Doasis, dogs are strictly not allowed inside the 2nd and 3rd floors, but there's a separate outdoor dog run of about 400 pyeong on the 4th floor. The fact that the space is thoughtfully divided for visitors is another strength of Doasis.
Those who want to sit quietly and chat can comfortably stay on the 2nd and 3rd floor interiors, while the open-air 4th floor run looked like a great place for dogs to breathe fresh air and run around happily.
There are also plenty of high chairs placed throughout the store, along with a dedicated nursing room and group seating for larger parties. You could really see the thoughtful care put into making the space comfortable for families visiting with children.

Who would I recommend Yangju's Doasis to?
I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants to escape the stuffy city and enjoy delicious bread and coffee while feeling fresh air and lush greenery. If you're looking for a drive course near Seoul or an open, breezy place to relax, I hope you'll visit Doasis in Yangju with family or a partner this weekend.
