Today I'm introducing 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch, a Seongsu café famous for its soufflés!

Where is 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch, and where can you park?
5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is a 5-minute walk from Seoulsup Station Exit 5 and a 7-minute walk from Ttukseom Station Exit 8. Being so close to the stations, it's really easy to get to. It's also very near Seoulsup, so a little Seongsu route (5to7 café, then Seoulsup) looked perfect to me.
For parking, nearby options are the Seongdong-gu Citizens' Sports Center, the Galleria Foret lot, the Seoulsup D Tower lot and the Ttukseom Reservoir public lot, so keep those in mind. It's open daily from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

5to7 is already famous in Seongsu as a soufflé spot!! The exterior suits the Seoulsup and Ttukseom atmosphere too! The lush green trees blend naturally with the café, so it's a great place for a little breather.

How many floors does 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch have, and is there a terrace?
5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is a big café running from 1F up to an outdoor 3F rooftop, and it has terraces on 1F and 2F too. Climb the stairs and step inside, and you'll find the ordering area. With the lovely weather these days, the terrace seats were really popular haha

5to7 1st-floor interior and how to order

At 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch, you must grab a seat before you order on 1F. Soufflés are cooked only after you order, so you need to wait about 20-30 minutes. It's a nice space to relax, chat and enjoy the mood while you wait.

After you pick a seat freely and order, they hand you a vibrating pager.

1st floor full? Head up to the 2nd floor
The 1F space and terrace were already full of guests, so I moved up to 2F! Open the door marked 2F and head up the stairs and you'll reach the second floor.
There's even a little table by the door for setting down your tray!! So if you're carrying drinks alone, you won't get stuck unable to open the door. Such a thoughtful touch 😎🖤

Can you see it, everyone? The picture windows at 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch are seriously big and airy, and outside is an even cooler view of fresh green summer trees. (It already goes so well with the wood interior…) And there are a lot of windows like this, so the whole space feels open! The indoor lighting isn't very bright, but if you want a café with a soft mood from natural light coming in, you have to come to 5to7.
The 2nd floor feels roomier than the 1st

To me, 2F at 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch felt a little bigger and airier than 1F!

The space is wide and has so many pretty spots to sit that I struggled to decide where to sit haha
5to7 3rd-floor rooftop and terrace

The rooftop at 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch also had a pretty big space with lots of seats. It looked like a tempting spot that would have an even better mood on a cool night!

My personal take on the biggest strength of a terrace = you feel the breeze outdoors and get closer to the scenery! It differs by person, but I liked the 2F terrace best!
What we ordered at 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch
At 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch I ordered a strawberry soufflé for ₩22,000, a 5to7 Einspänner for ₩8,000 and a Dutch americano for ₩6,000.
- 5to7 Einspänner ₩8,000
- Dutch americano ₩6,000
- Strawberry soufflé ₩22,000

Every soufflé at 5to7 is one I wanted to try, so after much agonizing I picked the strawberry soufflé! The cream sprinkled over the soufflé, surrounded by strawberries and blueberries, felt like a cloud ☁️
Dutch americano at 5to7

The 5to7 Dutch americano is said to be cold brew made from their own roasted beans. As expected, it pairs well with a sweet dessert ☕️ I hear 5to7's drip coffee is good too, so I recommend the drip coffee as well!
5to7 Einspänner

This is the 5to7 Einspänner (coffee topped with cream), where you get milk, coffee and custard cream all at once.
When you order the 5to7 Einspänner, they give you a small spoon like this, and there's a fun bit where you crack the sugar on top ☺️ First I scooped up the sweet custard cream and let the sweetness fill my mouth, then stirred it all the way down into the milk layer, and a sweet coffee was born!! I recommend the 5to7 Einspänner to anyone who wants to enjoy a sweet, smooth taste together with a slightly bitter coffee ☺️
Is the 5to7 strawberry soufflé too sweet?
The cream on the 5to7 strawberry soufflé wasn't that sweet, and it was a textbook soufflé that melted in my mouth the moment it went in. They say what looks good tastes good, and this already looks filling before you even eat it. (Of course, you have to eat it to actually feel full.)
I couldn't help poking the fluffy-looking soufflé. I was a little worried that the cream on top would be extremely sweet, and wondered if I'd made a mistake ordering a sweet drink instead of an americano, but once I took a bite I liked that the cream wasn't that sweet, and the combination with the sweet-tart fresh strawberries and blueberries was charming. It vanishes the moment it goes in your mouth, and now I totally understand the otter washing cotton candy in water.
It was a day when I caught myself eating at top speed.
