Cheonan dessert café with a fruit soufflé that beats Seongsu: Andamiro
In short
Andamiro Pancake Cheonan (안다미로팬케이크 천안점) is a soufflé pancake dessert café on the 2nd floor across from Sinbu Culture Park in Cheonan. The writer ordered the Andamiro soufflé pancake, baked to order and topped with seasonal kiwi, fig, grape and banana, along with a grapefruit ade and an einspänner. Verdict: Andamiro Pancake Cheonan's soufflé tasted better than a famous soufflé spot in Seongsu, at friendlier prices.

Today I was craving a fluffy soufflé pancake, so I headed to Andamiro Pancake Cheonan (안다미로팬케이크 천안점), a soufflé spot in Cheonan. It's on the 2nd floor across from Sinbu Culture Park, so it was easy to find, and the big, relaxed space made it a really comfortable dessert break.
What is the space like at Andamiro Pancake Cheonan?
Andamiro Pancake Cheonan is a spacious dessert café on the 2nd floor of the building across from Sinbu Culture Park. When you climb the stairs and step inside, the wide open space is the first thing you notice.

With such a variety of seats and layouts, choosing where to sit was half the fun.

The windows are floor-to-ceiling glass, too, so it looks perfect for relaxing while watching Sinbu Culture Park.

Best of all, the tables aren't close together, so we could chat without worrying about the next table, and it felt as roomy as a big café. The vibe suits catching up with friends, dates and family gatherings alike.
What did we order at Andamiro Pancake Cheonan?
We ordered the Andamiro soufflé pancake, a grapefruit ade and an einspänner (coffee topped with cream). Looking at the menu, the soufflé pancake jumped right out at me.

Looking around at the other tables, everyone was eating a soufflé pancake, no exceptions. So we went with the Andamiro soufflé pancake, a grapefruit ade and an einspänner!

Next to the counter there's water, syrup and napkins, so if you want cold water you can just grab it yourself.
Are the soufflé pancakes baked to order?
Yes. The soufflé pancakes at Andamiro Pancake Cheonan are cooked only once your order goes in.

The biggest feature here is the soufflé pancake made fresh as soon as you order. They aren't made ahead; they start baking when your order comes in, so you have to wait a little, but that wait gets you that just-baked freshness.
How are the grapefruit ade and einspänner?
The drinks came out before the soufflé pancake. The grapefruit ade was tangy and pleasantly bittersweet, and the einspänner was nutty with no acidity.

They bring the drinks before the pancake arrives, and the cold, sweet, fresh look of them made me want to drink right away.
Grapefruit ade

The tangy-bitter grapefruit flavor really comes through and it's so refreshing that a sip between bites of the sweet pancake cleans up your mouth. The color is pretty too, so it's great for photos.
Einspänner (can be made decaf)

For coffee lovers, I recommend the einspänner. The coffee here uses rich, nutty beans without acidity, so paired with the soufflé pancake the balance was really good. After the sweetness of the soft cream comes the deep nuttiness of the coffee, which felt like it reined in the pancake's sweetness.
By the way, every coffee drink can be switched to decaf, so even people sensitive to caffeine can enjoy it without worry.
What fruit goes on the seasonal fruit soufflé pancake?
At the time of my visit, the Andamiro soufflé pancake came piled with kiwi, fig, grape and banana along with the signature cream. While you're sipping your drink, the pancake arrives: a fluffy soufflé pancake on the plate, generously topped with fresh seasonal fruit and signature cream.

The seasonal fruit was kiwi, fig, grape and banana, and the fruit was really sweet and perfectly ripe.
A soufflé texture that melts in your mouth

The soufflé is so soft it jiggles slightly when the fork touches it, and one bite just melts away in your mouth.

The texture was fluffy in a way that's clearly different from ordinary bread or bakery items. The batter itself isn't overly sweet, so eaten with the signature cream and the fresh fruit, the flavors were nicely balanced.

I hear the seasonal fruit changes from time to time, so it seems like you could find a new combination every visit. The fruit and the soufflé go so well together, and both just melt and vanish in your mouth. The soufflé melts before you even swallow it, and I was honestly moved. It was even tastier than the famous soufflé place in Seongsu!
Verdict: is it a soufflé pancake spot worth recommending in Cheonan?
I loved the made-to-order soufflé pancake, the grapefruit ade and the einspänner at Andamiro Pancake Cheonan, so I recommend it as a soufflé spot in Cheonan.

The freshly baked fluffy soufflé pancake, the zesty grapefruit ade and the nutty einspänner were all satisfying. In a relaxed space, I enjoyed tasty desserts and had a memorable time. If you're looking for a great soufflé pancake place in Cheonan, I recommend Andamiro Pancake Cheonan! The prices are really kind and it tastes really good, so you won't regret choosing it.
