Cheonan hair salon: AI-photo midi cut and curl straightening, Plan H

I'd been growing out my curly hair for ages with no time to go, and it was already waaay past time to deal with it!!! So I rushed over to a hair salon♥️ It's called Plan H and it's in Cheongdang-dong, Cheonan. Women's hair comes with a lot of wishes, so I usually worry, but Plan H did a careful consultation and I felt I could trust them,,,!

I was surprised by how clean it was the moment I walked in. Partly because I went right at opening, but it's tidy, and the trees outside the window were so fresh and green💛 The weather was great that day too, lucky,,🍀

A salon with a posted claims policy

Unusually, Plan H has a claims policy fully written out and posted on the wall! Honestly, I kind of like it?… It feels like they intend to take responsibility if a customer gets an unsatisfying treatment covered by those terms, so I trusted them even more!

Long curly hair before the magic straightening and cut

This time at Plan H I came for a magic straightening (straight perm) and a cut. My hair was growing out all uneven and looked messy, so it's been a while since I last cut it!

My hair was quite a bit longer than last time! This is the before photo, and the curlier it gets, the bigger the hair looks, so you really have to deal with it quickly haha. It looked like a long-haired puppy,,, Everyone, go to the salon before it's too late and get neat🤍

Is it okay to bring an AI reference photo?

At Plan H, even with an AI reference photo, they first consulted on my body shape and facial structure, then cut it as close as they could. This time one stylist handled everything from start to finish, and the moment I sat down she got right into a quick cut! My hair felt so much lighter afterward, such a relief.

I wanted a midi length a bit shorter than before, so I brought a reference. Since it was an AI image, they started with a consultation based on my body shape and facial structure, then said they'd cut it to look as similar as possible, which made me trust them even more♥️

How did they limit damage on dyed hair?

Before the straightening, Plan H checked my hair condition first and applied the product to the weakest hair as late as possible, so it was less damaged. After the cut we went straight to the straightening step with no separate shampoo. My hair isn't seriously damaged, but I've dyed it, so I'm sensitive about hair quality! I've seen so many salons that fry your hair in a single straightening, ugh. But Plan H checked my hair first and treated the weakest parts last, so it was comparatively gentler👍🏻 And if you get peckish midway, there are snacks and coffee, nom♥️

They did the most frizzy parts first, then carefully did the rest as a full straightening!✨ Fast hands but meticulous, best stylist,,,! And I loved that the same stylist handled it 1:1 the whole time!

Flat-ironing and cream neutralizing

Next came the most important part! After flat-ironing, the neutralizing step was left! The stylist is quick, and magic straightening usually takes forever, but it seemed to finish faster than I expected! haha Watching your hair get sleek under the flat iron and imagining how silky it'll be soon feels so good, right haha. Curly people know,,, right?…🥹🥹 Then for neutralizing, she used a cream neutralizer, applying it to the worst areas first!♥️

At the end, the stylist checked the cut carefully once more and finished with a blow-dry, and it came out just like the reference I brought, I love it! Getting a cut after so long was a nice change of mood, and being properly styled really gives you energy♥️
