HYBE Playground is a large café near Sinyongsan Station in Yongsan, Seoul, split into a 2nd-floor café, a 3rd-floor lounge and terrace, and a 4th-floor rooftop. Expecting something tied to a favorite idol, the writer found it closer to a typical large café, though the seating mood changes floor by floor, working for both quiet chats and group hangouts. The blue lemon sherbet ade looked gorgeous but was seriously sour.
Bass Burger Sinyongsan is a hand-made burger restaurant tucked in an alley of Yongridan-gil in Yongsan, Seoul. Visiting with her sister, the writer shared The Bass Burger, the sriracha cheese burger set, and the chili mochi cheese bar, plus self-serve chips, and found the juicy patty and vegetable-sauce balance satisfying enough that one burger alone was filling. Worth a visit if you're after something different from franchise burgers.
Menya Seoul Yongsan I'Park Mall Branch is a ramen restaurant on the 7th floor food court of I'Park Mall in Yongsan, Seoul. Visiting on a weekday evening with her sister who wanted something spicy, the writer ordered both the mild and spicy dongpo pork chashu ramen sets (₩17,900 each) with gyoza and drinks included, and compared the two side by side. It's not a standout flavor, but a solidly tasty ramen worth recommending if you're looking for ramen in I'Park Mall.
