I inhaled everything in a total frenzy that day!! This is a Bupyeong restaurant I truly recommend for pasta.

My friend and I stopped by Two Find Peter Bupyeong, near Bupyeong Station, before checking into a party room! Counting its other branches, I've been to Two Find Peter a few times over the years. The menu is big and the prices aren't scary, so it's where I end up whenever I crave pasta or risotto.

This time we were looking for a good Bupyeong date-style spot for the two of us and picked the Bupyeong branch, and the atmosphere turned out to have more character than I expected, haha.

What's the atmosphere at Two Find Peter Bupyeong like?

The blue TO FIND PETER sign is visible from outside, so it wasn't hard to find. Once you step inside, the mood is quite a bit nicer than I'd imagined.

It's a franchise, yet every branch looks this different. I find that fascinating.

The red-toned ceiling is a clear statement piece without feeling tacky, and paintings hang on the walls, so it's a little vintage yet casual. It isn't a stiff, formal restaurant, but it doesn't feel like a plain rice joint either, so it works for friends and for couples. The tables aren't crammed together, which made it comfortable too.

So it looks good for people searching for a Bupyeong date spot, or for blind dates and birthdays, when you want a meal somewhere a bit more atmospheric than usual. We came as friends, and sitting across from each other, talking slowly while we ate, was perfect.

Isn't the expression so cute? Hehe. There were two of us, but we wanted to eat so many things that we ended up ordering three dishes.

It was quite a generous amount for two, and since the pasta, risotto and chicken steak all taste completely different, I was glad we ordered several and shared.

How is the hot shrimp garlic pasta? My friend's number one

The dish my friend especially loved at Two Find Peter Bupyeong was the hot shrimp garlic pasta (₩14,000). It's an oil-based pasta but not too greasy, with a slight spicy kick, so you don't get tired of it until the last bite.

It has shrimp and whole garlic cloves, and I liked the subtle garlic aroma that rises up.

Oil pasta can sometimes taste bland, but

the hot shrimp garlic pasta has a definite flavor, and my friend said right after the first bite, "This is good, this is the best one." Personally, eating it together with the cream risotto made a great combination, which made me even happier.

Gorgonzola mushroom cream risotto: is the gorgonzola too strong?

If my friend's pick was the hot shrimp garlic pasta, the gorgonzola mushroom cream risotto (₩19,000) is mine. I already like cream dishes, and I was very satisfied, haha.

The cream sauce is on the thick side, so the first bite was clearly rich and smooth, and there were plenty of mushrooms on top, which gave it a nice texture. I worried the gorgonzola might make the smell too strong, but

it wasn't overwhelming at all, and the deep cheese flavor went well with the risotto.

Smoked chicken steak: a plate with a subtle smoky aroma

Last, the smoked chicken steak (₩18,000)! The plating was neat, and it came with potatoes and sides, so it looked pretty appetizing.

The chicken was grilled lightly golden on the outside, and the smoky aroma was subtle, so it tasted better to me than an ordinary chicken steak.

My friend even filmed me cutting the smoked chicken steak, and it looked less skillful and a bit clumsy, which made it funnier and more real, haha.

Is Two Find Peter Bupyeong worth going back to?

I'd been to Two Find Peter a few times before, but this Bupyeong branch satisfied me on both atmosphere and food. The mood is relaxed and the menu is varied, so it's good for visiting with a friend and also for a casual stop on a date.

It was there, and now it's gone! Cackle cackle. I really had a properly filling meal.

I was especially happy that day because the combination of hot shrimp garlic pasta, gorgonzola mushroom cream risotto and smoked chicken steak went better together than I expected. My friend enjoyed it, and I had a pleasant meal after a long while, so if you're looking for a Western restaurant with a good mood in Bupyeong, I'd recommend giving Two Find Peter Bupyeong a try.
