This is The Sweetree, a dessert café near Balsan Station that I really love.

I always ordered The Sweetree waffles by delivery. What about eating them in the shop?
The Sweetree is the dessert spot near Balsan Station that I order from by delivery whenever I crave waffles. I really love waffles, and I've been so happy with every order that I've reordered many times. This time I went to the shop in person to try them.

The Sweetree also takes group orders, so it's a good place to order several kinds and share at gatherings, office snacks or family get-togethers. I once ordered a bunch of different items together, and the reaction was really good. This time I wanted freshly baked waffles, so I went in person.
The Sweetree location, parking and shop atmosphere
The Sweetree is between Balsan Station and Ujangsan Station. It's about a 10-minute walk from Balsan Station and about 5 minutes from Ujangsan Station, so it's easy to get to.

The surrounding residential area is fairly quiet, so it was nice for enjoying dessert in peace. Parking is also available, so people coming by car can visit without worry.
The exterior is neat and cute at the same time. The full glass windows make it feel open, and the desserts on display inside catch your eye.

The inside is small but tidy, and the soft lighting makes it feel cozy. Best of all, the nutty waffle smell hits you the moment you walk in. I love it.
The Sweetree waffle menu and what I ordered
The Sweetree sells a wide range of waffles, from plain waffles to whipped cream waffles and fruit waffles. With so many kinds, it's easy to choose by taste.

I ordered these three items this time.
- Chocolate brownie whipped cream waffle
- Banana choco whipped cream waffle
- Blueberry yogurt smoothie

The chocolate brownie whipped cream waffle uses a homemade brownie and dairy whipped cream. They also say they use French Le Gall butter and Belgian Tirlemont pearl sugar, so I was even more excited.

The banana choco whipped cream waffle is also a mix of rich butter flavor, sweet chocolate and fresh banana. The blueberry yogurt smoothie I ordered with it is known for its fresh, tangy taste, so I thought it would go well with the sweet desserts.
How does the chocolate brownie whipped cream waffle taste?
I tried the chocolate brownie whipped cream waffle first. One bite and I was reminded all over again why I love The Sweetree's waffles.

The waffle, crisp outside and moist inside, was piled with soft whipped cream, and the rich chocolate brownie on top made it a hearty, full-flavored bite.

Maybe because the brownie is homemade, it was even richer and moister. It's sweet but not overwhelming, so I enjoyed it to the very end.

Banana choco whipped cream waffle with a blueberry yogurt smoothie
The Sweetree's banana choco whipped cream waffle was really satisfying too. Sweet chocolate and banana is a combo that's always good, and with whipped cream added it tasted even softer and more generous.

The waffle itself is so good that I think it goes well with any topping.

In the blueberry yogurt smoothie, rich blueberry flavor and the tang of yogurt blended together nicely. A sip after the sweet waffle left my mouth feeling clean and refreshed, which I loved.

It confirmed once more why I order from The Sweetree by delivery whenever I want waffles. Delivery is good, but waffles baked fresh in the shop were definitely even better.
Overall: delivery is great, but fresh-baked waffles in the shop are a step up
The Sweetree, the dessert spot near Balsan Station, is the first place that comes to mind when I think of waffles. I usually ordered by delivery, but visiting in person was even more satisfying.

Both the chocolate brownie whipped cream waffle and the banana choco whipped cream waffle were high quality, and pairing them with the blueberry yogurt smoothie was great. Group orders are possible too, so it's a good choice for gatherings or snack days when you want to order several kinds and share.
If you're looking for tasty dessert near Balsan Station, or a good place to order waffles by delivery, I recommend The Sweetree. It's satisfying whether you visit in person or enjoy it at home by delivery.
