Namwirye shabu-shabu buffet date with Mom, yogurt ice cream: Dadam

Where is Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye Branch, and is there parking?

Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch (다담샤브샤브&월남쌈 위례점) is within a 10-minute walk of Namwirye Station, and the parking lot is big, so it's easy to come by car too! Mom and I both love shabu-shabu, so we went for a shabu-shabu date!

It's near the Namwirye Station café street, so you could eat, take a walk along the Changgokcheon stream, then hit a café. Great date course!!

Atmosphere and time limit at Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye

The whole place felt clean and comfortable the moment we walked in. The tables aren't cramped, so it suits family meals or going with friends or a partner.

Shabu-shabu means lots of ingredients on the table, so small tables get annoying fast, but here we could eat at ease without any trouble. There's a 2-hour limit, and 2 hours is plenty to eat your fill!!

We picked the spicy and seafood broths

At Dadam you choose two broths from original, spicy and seafood. For two adults, Mom and I ordered spicy and seafood. The spicy one was refreshing and really good!!

What is unlimited at Dadam Shabu Shabu?

Shabu-shabu veggies, rice paper wrap veggies, meat, ice cream and coffee were all unlimited!! There was fried rice too!!

What I liked most was how fresh the vegetables were. Veggie quality matters a lot in shabu-shabu, and the napa cabbage, bean sprouts, mushrooms and the rest looked clean and fresh, so I went back for more several times. You can refill as much as you like, so you can load up on your favorite veggies without feeling awkward.

Unlimited beef: usamgyeop and sirloin

The meat is unlimited too, so there's no holding back. When I visited, they had usamgyeop (thinly sliced beef brisket) and sirloin. Both were tender and tasty after a quick swish in the broth, but personally usamgyeop suited me better. Its rich, fatty flavor goes well with the broth and it's so nutty that I kept reaching for it.

Dumplings, meatballs and mushrooms are unlimited too — I cleared out the meatballs

Dumplings, meatballs and the wrap veggies are all unlimited!! Meatballs can be pricey at malatang places, so I never got to eat many, but this time I swept them up, hahaha. They were really good!!!

These are the veggies I brought, hahahaha. It was just Mom and me, and I think we ate a plate like this more than twice. I ate one meal that day, hahaha.

See those glowing meatballs and mushrooms?! Mushrooms are pricey so I don't eat them often, and I ate tons here~~

When I started getting tired of the flavor, the sauces were well stocked, so I switched sauces and kept eating, haha. Just kept going.

Pineapple in the rice paper wraps, and partitioned seats

I rolled up rice paper wraps (월남쌈, Vietnamese-style summer rolls) nicely too. You absolutely have to put pineapple in them, and they had pineapple ready, so I ate plenty of tangy wraps, haha.

No matter how much I ate, my seat had a partition, so I never felt self-conscious!!

Finishing with fried rice, yogurt ice cream and coffee

Lastly I brought over fried rice and ate it up, haha. Wrapping it with egg and all the wrap veggies is so delicious, you have no idea T_T

Oh, and I also had coffee and ice cream. The ice cream was yogurt flavor, and the coffee was as good as any café, so there's no need to go to a café after the meal. Dadam covers it all in one go!

Even when veggies are unlimited, not many places offer unlimited meat, but Dadam does, so there were really a lot of people with growing kids!! Seeing even little ones piling food onto their plates, I figured it's a real good spot.

The view is nice, it's easy to reach from Namwirye Station, so when you crave shabu-shabu or want lots of meat, I recommend Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch!!!
