Jamsil piercing shop for inner conch combos: Like It Piercing

I was hanging out in Jamsil today and wandered through the underground shopping center, and it turns out there are quite a lot of piercing shops there!! I happen to have 7 piercings across both ears, so I figured it was time for a full swap. Out of all those shops, I went to Like It Piercing (라이크잇피어싱), the biggest one!

Like It Piercing is at F-2, 3, 4 Jamsil Underground Shopping Center, 567 Songpa-daero, Songpa-gu, Seoul. It is open daily 11:00-20:30 and closed every other Monday.

Like It Piercing takes up a whole three units! It's so spacious that it stands out the most among the piercing shops in the Jamsil underground mall! And there's a June event: ₩5,000 off when you spend ₩20,000 or more, so definitely take part! You can basically get one piercing almost for free~

Why do I recommend inner conch piercings?

The writer has piercings in both the inner conch and the outer conch, and especially recommends the inner conch. Every part of the ear has its own name, and I once pierced my ear's helix, but it was so hard to take care of that I ended up letting it close up, T_T

The inner conch, though, I really recommend! It sits on the inside so your hair never touches it, and it's the most visible one, haha!

The piercings at Like It Piercing are made of surgical steel, so for me, who wears piercings on my earlobes too, there's no rust and no allergic reaction. They also have silver and 14K piercings, so if even surgical steel is a bit much for your sensitive skin, you can go with those!

Can you get pierced and get combination advice at Like It Piercing?

Like It Piercing has a space for ear piercing, and the piercer recommends combinations. An experienced piercer gives one-on-one consultations and tailors the care to your own style and taste.

They call it "earterior" (ear + interior design), right?! lol I was struggling with how to put my combination together too, so the piercer recommended a combination that suits me!

Post replacement and bar length adjustment

At Like It Piercing you can have earring posts replaced, and the bar length can be adjusted too. You can also get bruising after a piercing, and the shop has detailed instructions on how to care for bruises.

How long does a piercing take to settle?

According to the Like It Piercing guide, earlobes take about 3-6 months and cartilage about 6-12 months to settle well. The shop also has aftercare precautions posted.

Something I learned for the first time this visit: a piercing or earring is a wound?! You're basically caring for it until the wound heals nicely. Mine were done when I was young and I just wore them around carelessly, but I wish I'd gotten them done somewhere that looks after you this well T_T

The piercings I picked at Like It Piercing

At Like It Piercing I picked 1 white clover piercing and 2 silver heart piercings. So many pretty designs, right! I'm really so happy with them!

I'm going to mix them with the piercings I have at home, so I took them in a little bag~ If you say you want to wear them out, they sterilize them and put them in for you, so anyone who finds it hard to do alone can get the piercer's help.
