My mom, my sister and I took a trip around Hongdae, and this time we headed to a spot I'd heard was famous for soufflé desserts — Think Fruit. Apparently their soufflé made with in-season peaches was especially popular, so I was really looking forward to it haha.

Where is Think Fruit, and how do you walk there from Hongik University Station?

Think Fruit is located at 14-12 1F, Wausan-ro 29-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul. It's a comfortable walking distance from Hongik University Station, so it's a great place to duck into for dessert while you're out exploring Hongdae.
It sits a bit down an alley, so if it's your first visit I'd recommend using a map to find it. We just walked over slowly while looking around Hongdae, and it turned out to be closer than we expected.
Inside Think Fruit: interior and atmosphere

Inside, this Hongik University Station café was bright, clean, and had a cute, cozy feel overall. The big windows kept it from feeling cramped, and the natural light made it a nice spot for photos too.

It was a relaxed spot for my mom, my sister and me to sit and chat, and true to a fruit dessert specialty shop, you could see fresh fruit here and there around the store, which built up my anticipation even before the desserts arrived haha.
How to order at Think Fruit and what's on the menu

You look at the menu board and order at the counter, and the lineup was pretty varied — everything from soufflés to parfaits, coffee, and smoothies.

After some back and forth, we ordered the peach soufflé, an iced americano, and a strawberry yogurt smoothie. Since the soufflé is made fresh after you order, we had to wait a bit, but that just made eating it hot out of the oven feel even more exciting.
How does the peach soufflé at Think Fruit taste?

Finally, the peach soufflé we'd been waiting for arrived! The visuals were seriously so pretty!! All three of us — me, my mom, and my sister — couldn't stop marveling at it hahaha.

It looked so good that I couldn't not take photos of it lol.

A fluffily baked soufflé, a whole peach, peach slices, cream, and even ice cream all came generously piled onto one plate — a plating that made you feel good just looking at it.

The soufflé was so fluffy it cut apart smoothly with just a light press of the fork, and it melted moist and soft in the mouth! The egg flavor wasn't overpowering and had a nice nuttiness, making it easy to eat without feeling heavy. This was my first time trying soufflé as a dessert — apparently it's a Japanese dessert! So cloud-like and delicious!

Best of all, the peach was packed full of Greek yogurt inside, and the combo of sweet peach with tangy, thick Greek yogurt really worked well together.

Add in the cream and ice cream for extra sweetness, and I think anyone who loves dessert would be really satisfied.
The iced americano we ordered with the soufflé

Of course you need an iced americano while eating a sweet soufflé haha. It was clean and refreshing, so it was nice to sip between bites, and it reset the sweetness of the dessert nicely each time — a great pairing.
Strawberry yogurt smoothie at Think Fruit

The strawberry yogurt smoothie was also delicious, sweet and tangy. The sweetness of the strawberry blended well with the yogurt's distinct tartness, making it the perfect refreshing drink for a hot day.

Getting to enjoy such a delicious dessert while out and about in Hongdae with my mom and sister felt like a proper little healing session!

If you especially love peaches, you have to try the peach soufflé while it's in season. It's so pretty to look at and tastes great too, so it'll come to mind whenever you're looking for a special dessert café in Hongdae :)
