Ingye-dong restaurant with free 2-hour parking in Suwon: bone hot pot

Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a 24-hour Korean restaurant in the Drama City building in Ingye-dong, Suwon, near Suwon City Hall Station. Two diners shared the small bone hot pot (29,000 won) at regular spice and still had plenty, then finished the pot with fried rice (3,000 won). With two hours free in the building's underground lot and lots of solo diners, Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk is an easy stop in Ingye-dong even when you drive.

Ganpunggi late lunch at Cheonghwawon, a Daehangno Chinese restaurant

Cheonghwawon Daehangno Branch is a two-floor Chinese restaurant in Daehangno, Jongno-gu, Seoul, a 2-minute walk from Hyehwa Station Exit 4. A 2pm visit with a friend before a play came to 39,800 won for two: beef knife-cut noodles at 10,500 won, xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) at 9,500 won and ganpunggi (crispy fried chicken) at 19,800 won, all served almost back to back as the lunch crowd cleared out. Arriving after the lunch peak is the trick at Cheonghwawon — the wide second floor stays quiet and relaxed.
