Sindang Station Korean BBQ by a Culinary Class Wars 2 chef: Beefjeong
In short
Beefjeong Gogi Jip (비프정) is a Korean BBQ restaurant serving beef and pork near Exit 8 of Sindang Station in Seoul, run by an owner who appeared on Culinary Class Wars 2. At Beefjeong the writer had one serving each of pork jowl and pork belly, an old-fashioned lunchbox with pork belly, pa-kimchi jjagyechi and a Beefjeong burger earned with a Naver review, and found the chili doenjang and grilled kimchi pairing especially good. The writer calls Beefjeong a 'best pork belly of my life' spot and is 100% set on going back.

Today I visited a great pork belly spot in Sindang, "Beefjeong" (비프정). It's a Korean BBQ restaurant at Sindang Station that serves beef and pork. We had a really good time with the pork belly, pork jowl, jjagyechi and the retro lunchbox. Let's get right into the review~ Hope you enjoy it!
Getting to Beefjeong at Sindang Station and opening hours
Beefjeong is easy to reach from Exit 8 of Sindang Station.🚊 Hours are Mon–Thu 16:00–24:00 and Fri–Sun 12:00–24:00.
What is the atmosphere like at Beefjeong?
Beefjeong is a Sindang Station BBQ restaurant run by the owner-chef who appeared on Culinary Class Wars 2 (흑백요리사 2). Let's start with the outside☺️

So the owner from Culinary Class Wars 2 is a famous guy, huh.. haha. The place is open-fronted, which gives it an outdoor street-table vibe, and I loved that.

What we ordered at Beefjeong and the prices
The two of us ordered one serving of pork jowl for ₩21,000, one serving of pork belly for ₩19,000, a retro lunchbox for ₩5,000 and pa-kimchi jjagyechi for ₩9,000. On top of that, we got the Beefjeong burger for a Naver review.
- Pork jowl, 1 serving: ₩21,000
- Pork belly, 1 serving: ₩19,000
- Retro lunchbox: ₩5,000
- Pa-kimchi jjagyechi: ₩9,000
- + Beefjeong burger for a Naver review
Food's here~ (the meat, retro lunchbox, pa-kimchi jjagyechi, burger)

How are the side dishes at Beefjeong?
The side dishes at Beefjeong all go well with meat, so it's fun to eat the meat with a bunch of different sides. ✅ The important thing: every one of the sides is delicious.

How does the Beefjeong burger from a Naver review taste?
If you write a Naver review at Beefjeong, you can choose either soy sauce egg rice or the Beefjeong burger, and you absolutely have to write that review. The burger is just so good.. It has a beef patty and it's seriously delicious. Total recommend!

Inside the bun there are onions, pickles, a beef patty and cheese, with bulgogi sauce spread on it, so it tastes like a bulgogi burger, and the quality of the beef patty was great.

How were the pork jowl and pork belly at Beefjeong?
At Beefjeong we ordered one serving of pork jowl and one of pork belly and grilled them with kimchi, green onions and mushrooms on top. The fat-to-lean ratio of the pork belly is exactly my favorite style, so I loved it.

The jowl is thick, so it has that special jowl texture, which I liked even more. The pork belly was grilled golden, and eating it with the tasty kimchi was bliss. I've found my life-changing pork belly place. Highly recommended for anyone living in Sindang-dong~

Beefjeong's retro lunchbox with pork belly instead of ham
I ordered the Beefjeong retro lunchbox (yetnal dosirak, a nostalgic shaken lunchbox, ₩5,000) and it has pork belly in it? Put pork belly in instead of ham!! There's no way it could taste bad. I think this is the first time I've seen pork belly in a retro lunchbox. You can only get it at Beefjeong.
Shake shake shake it~~~~ A retro lunchbox only tastes right when you shake it~
What is Beefjeong's pa-kimchi jjagyechi?
Beefjeong's pa-kimchi jjagyechi (green onion kimchi with black bean noodles, ₩9,000) is Jjapaghetti topped with green onion kimchi and even meat. Here it comes, a jjagyechi + pa-kimchi that wins you over from the looks alone, ta-da~

This jjagyechi had really impressive pa-kimchi. Pa-kimchi, Jjapaghetti and even meat all in one. The pa-kimchi was seriously good.

I want jjagyechi again.. Judging by how tasty the food is overall, the owner is definitely a really good cook. So this is the level of restaurant you need to be to get on Culinary Class Wars.

What goes best with the meat at Beefjeong?
The meat at Beefjeong goes well with grilled kimchi, white wasabi and chili doenjang (fermented soybean paste). There was no ssamjang (wrap sauce); I'd never had doenjang with chili in it before and liked it, and it was especially good with the pork jowl.
Would I go back to Beefjeong, the Sindang Station BBQ spot?
If you're looking for a BBQ place near Sindang Station, how about Beefjeong? It'll be a meal with no regrets. It's perfect for a date, and the friend who came with me loved it too~ Next time I should come for the yukhoe (beef tartare) and hanwoo (Korean beef), haha. A spot I'll admit I want to go back to~!! 100% planning to return~
