Self-service bar and table extras
The self-service bar has pickles, chili sauce, sriracha and tableware. It's best to order and then get your things ready right away.

If you join the Naver receipt review event, you get 5 pieces of spring roll. Each table also has crushed peanuts, chili flakes, Polo mints and a mirror. We found them really handy.

These are the pickles and sauces I brought from the self-service bar.

And finally, the rice noodles and pu pad pong curry arrived at Drunken Thai. Quite a sight, right?
How was the pu pad pong curry at Drunken Thai?

The pu pad pong curry (₩20,000) comes topped with fried soft-shell crab and a fried egg. Rice came free alongside it. Mixing the rice into the coconut-scented curry was so delicious!

It wasn't too salty or spicy, so kids would eat it happily too. The fried soft-shell crab is a size you can eat shell and all, and it was crispy and fresh. It was a generous portion.
Drunken Thai beef noodle soup: the meat and broth
This is the beef rice noodle soup (₩11,500) at Drunken Thai Ilsan.

The bowl is packed with big pieces of beef and bean sprouts.

The meat was fresh with no gamey smell at all, and large and tender.

There were plenty of noodles too, and the broth was deep and rich.

Side dishes: half tod mun goong and half spring rolls
From the side menu, we ordered half tod mun goong and half spring rolls (₩4,000 each).

Tod mun goong (Thai shrimp cakes) are made from minced shrimp, crispy outside and moist and bouncy inside. The texture is great, and dipping them in chili sauce makes them even better.

The spring rolls are fried so the oil drains well, so they aren't greasy, and the filling was juicy with meat and vegetables. Crispy like a snack and tasty, a great side dish.
