Min Cook Dasima is a Japanese restaurant near Hwajeong Station in Goyang, Gyeonggi. I tried the weekday lunch-special premium sushi set and zaru soba, with sashimi, tempura, and chawanmushi included. Verdict: a lunch worth remembering for both value and variety.
Lemangdoré Gwanghwamun is a three-floor bakery café in Mugyo-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, between Seoul City Hall and Cheonggyecheon Stream. After a walk along Cheonggyecheon, I tried the white cream latte, iced Americano, and two plain financiers while looking around the seating on each floor. Verdict: the sweet cream latte and understated financiers made an especially good pairing.
