As we ate, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was so calm and pleasant that I thought it would suit any kind of gathering.

The matsutake mushroom soup and soft shrimp steamed egg made us feel like VIPs. Manmok's eel rice bowls are the kind of meal that is bound to earn compliments when served to anyone. Even our picky son ate with amazement, saying it was the best, so I was glad I had brought him.

They serve seasoned shredded radish and baek kimchi (mild white kimchi), which are hard to find at other places and lift the flavors even further. We got refills and ate more.
