The Brassway best menu set is a strong recommendation if you're visiting as two. Two women eating it together will either have a little leftover or leave nicely full.

If you're visiting as a pair, I really, really recommend just ordering this best menu set. If you're going with a boyfriend who eats a lot, this set is perfect~

Before the main dishes came out, pre-meal bread arrived (included in the set). The bread was baked wonderfully crisp, and the cream served alongside it was unusual and delicious — like cream cheese but with a strong lemon flavor that made it really good.

Galbi pasta at Brassway

This is the galbi pasta. It's the first time I've seen galbi (braised short rib) in pasta, and the galbi was as good as — no, better than — most dedicated galbi jjim (braised short rib) restaurants.

The galbi was seasoned just right and so, so, so tender. And the flavor of the seasoned galbi jjim really soaked into the pasta noodles, which was delicious. If it had only tasted of soy-based seasoning it might have been too heavy, but it was slightly spicy, and the peanut sprouts on top surprisingly worked really well.

My favorite dish at Brassway was the roast chicken cream risotto. It's made with oats instead of rice, so the texture is tender and chewy.

Usually risotto is made with rice everywhere, so this was the first time I'd seen it made with oats. But the texture was so good — bouncy and chewy like eating good springy jelly, honestly hard to describe. You have to try it.

Eating it with the green onion and roast chicken on top made it even better. There were also a lot of mushrooms mixed in.

Baby potato fries

These are the baby potato fries. I expected the usual convenience-store baby potato taste, but the roasted texture and the sauce paired together really well.

There was a reason everyone insisted you order these. Haha.

Final verdict: would the writer return to Brassway?

I'd go back with a firm 100 percent yes. I want to bring my boyfriend next time, haha. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and a kind owner — I was very satisfied.

Parking at Brassway: where to leave the car?

Brassway has no dedicated parking lot, so you'll need to use a nearby pay lot. I parked at Gate 688, about a 2-minute walk away, and it came to ₩3,500 after the meal.
