Mirim Yangjang Gwangalli branch 🦆✨ a great-atmosphere Peking duck spot. Today I'm writing about my visit to Mirim Yangjang's Gwangalli branch, where I got to enjoy both delicious food and a really nice vibe in Gwangalli! 🥰

I usually go to the original Mirim Yangjang in Jeonpo-dong — the Peking duck there is so good that I've gone back with friends more than once. 😋 So when I heard they'd opened a new branch in Gwangalli, I was curious and had to check it out. 🥳

What is Mirim Yangjang Gwangalli branch like inside? Roomier and more upscale than Jeonpo

The moment I walked into Mirim Yangjang Gwangalli branch, it felt completely different from the Jeonpo location. 👀✨ The space is much larger and the interior is more upscale, so the whole atmosphere was really lovely. 💛

It's a great fit for dates, friend gatherings, work dinners, or basically any kind of get-together. 🥂 Even though I visited on a weekday evening, the place was almost completely full,

and looking around, I could see plenty of people there for company dinners or group meetups too. 😊 If you're looking for a good-atmosphere Gwangalli bar or a spot for group gatherings, this one's worth keeping in mind! 👍💕

Ordering was simple with the QR code on the table. 📱 We went with half a Peking duck and stir-fried water spinach. 🦆🥬

Half Peking duck: moist, tender meat and crispy skin

When the Peking duck we'd been waiting for finally arrived, it was every bit as delicious as I remembered! 🤤❤️ The skin and meat go perfectly with yajang, the savory dipping sauce, along with scallion strips or cucumber strips. 😋

Wrapping the duck, scallion strips, cucumber strips, and sauce in a thin wheat pancake and rolling it up made for a really great combination. 🌯✨

The duck meat was moist and tender, pairing perfectly with the thin, chewy wheat pancake. 💯

Unlimited refills of wheat pancakes, cucumber strips and scallion strips

Best of all, you can keep getting refills of the wheat pancakes, cucumber strips and scallion strips! 👏👏 I honestly lost count of how many times I refilled the pancakes. 😂😂

The crispy roasted duck skin had a really nice savory flavor. 🤎 Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside — genuinely delicious. 😍

Add a bottle of Tsingtao beer on top of that, and what more is there to say? 🍺💕 Peking duck and beer are such a great match, this combo is perfect for an evening drinking session! 👍

How was the stir-fried water spinach? Heavy on the garlic oil aroma

The stir-fried water spinach (gongsimchae bokkeum) we ordered alongside was satisfying too. 😋 The garlic oil aroma soaked deep into the vegetables, waking up my appetite from the very first whiff. 🧄✨

It's great wrapped up in a pancake with the Peking duck, or just eaten on its own — clean-tasting and addictive, a perfect drinking snack. 🍻

Eating duck non-stop can get a little rich, but the stir-fried water spinach cleaned my palate in between bites, so I was glad we ordered it. 👌💚

Overall, my visit to Mirim Yangjang Gwangalli branch was really satisfying — both the food and the atmosphere. 🥰✨

I loved that the Peking duck I enjoyed at the Jeonpo branch is now available in Gwangalli too, and since this branch is bigger and more upscale, it works great for dates, friend gatherings, or work dinners. 🥂💕

It's popular enough to be nearly full even on a weekday evening, so if you're planning to visit, booking ahead is a good idea. 📞😉
