Pickles is at 62-14 Seojeon-ro 46beon-gil, Busanjin-gu, Busan, on the first floor, and it's open daily from 11:00 to 21:00 (last order 20:00). There's no parking, so you'll need to take public transport or use a nearby car park.
From the atmosphere to the taste, it was better than I expected, and I had a really satisfying time. If you're looking for a good place in Seomyeon or a Jeonpo pizza restaurant, I'd recommend giving it a visit.
What's the atmosphere like at Pickles on Jeonpo Café Street?
Pickles sits right in the middle of Jeonpo Café Street, so it's easy to get to, and the exterior already feels hip and polished. The moment I walked in, I was struck by the stylish interior and the lively mood.
It's great for a casual meal with friends, and it suits a date with a partner just as well.

What I ordered at Pickles that day was a half-and-half pizza. After agonizing over the many flavors, I picked the jambon-beurre pizza (ham and butter) and the taco pizza, and I think it turned out to be the best choice.

The jambon-beurre pizza looked amazing the second it came out. Generous slices of jambon (French-style ham) and fresh arugula (rocket) caught my eye. One bite and the nutty flavor of the butter and the salty ham blended perfectly. It was really appealing.
It felt different from an ordinary pizza, more like a brunch dish or a proper main, with a classy taste. With the fragrant freshness of the arugula added, I kept reaching for another slice.

The taco pizza was impressive too. It's a unique style of pizza topped with tacos, an American soul food, and the crunchy texture was really good.
The taco chips and jalapeños on top add texture and a spicy kick, and the cream cheese smooths out the whole flavor.
The cream cheese balances what could have been a heavy taste, so I never got tired of it and enjoyed it to the end.
Do Pickles pizza and draft beer make a good pizza-and-beer pairing?
Another charm of Pickles is the draft beer. Crispy, flavorful pizza with ice-cold draft beer was literally fantastic. The nuttiness of the jambon-beurre pizza and the salty, spicy taste of the taco pizza went especially well with the beer.
The conversation got even more fun and the mood improved too. It was so good that I can't remember how many glasses of beer I had that day. 🍻
Pickles dough: why you finish it to the end
