I visited Pasta Go in Hongdae. With today's prices, a single pasta dish easily runs ₩20,000–30,000, but Pasta Go has fair prices, generous portions, and every dish I ordered was a hit :) The toowoomba pasta especially had a really rich sauce and plenty of shrimp, and I was so happy!!! Here's my genuinely satisfied Pasta Go Hongdae review, starting right now~~!
Where is Pasta Go Hongdae Branch, and what's the vibe?
Pasta Go Hongdae Branch is at 12 Wausan-ro 33-gil, 1st floor, Mapo-gu, Seoul. It's just a short walk from Hongdae's busy main streets, so it's easy to find. Checking Naver Map should help you get there~~

The exterior already felt clean and tidy, and since I'd heard the prices were great, maybe that's why customers kept coming in even on a weekday. A place that's already famous is famous for a reason.

Inside Pasta Go Hongdae Branch, there were plenty of seats and the atmosphere was lovely~ The tables weren't squeezed together, which I liked. It works for hanging out with friends and the mood is good for a date too.

How ordering works at Pasta Go Hongdae and what's on the menu
You order easily at a kiosk, and the menu has a really wide range. There are lots of pastas, plus risotto, pizza and sides, so choosing is half the fun. Honestly, looking at the menu I thought "I have to try that next time" several times, haha

And as you can see, the prices, the prices~~!!! They're seriously unbelievable!!!
How does Pasta Go's garlic butter cream risotto taste?

First up, the garlic butter cream risotto. The cream was piled on thick and rich, and I thought it looked delicious even before taking photos. When I took a bite, the garlic aroma burst out from the thick cream.

The garlic wasn't too strong and blended naturally with the nutty richness of the butter, so I kept going back for more. The cream sauce was very rich, yet not heavy or greasy, which I liked.

Cream risotto usually gets a bit tiring after a few spoonfuls, right? But maybe thanks to the garlic, I could enjoy Pasta Go's garlic butter cream risotto to the very end. The rice was cooked just right too. It wasn't mushy and kept a nice bite, so you really get that classic risotto charm.
Eating it together with the toppings made the flavor even better. Personally, it was the most unexpected dark horse of everything I ordered that day. I went for pasta and fell for the risotto, haha

Pasta Go's shrimp toowoomba cream pasta: how are the sauce and shrimp?
And now today's main dish, the shrimp toowoomba cream pasta (toowoomba is a creamy, mildly spicy pasta sauce). Honestly, I think anyone who likes toowoomba will love Pasta Go's version. The sauce is seriously rich.

The thick cream sauce coated the noodles properly, and the rich flavor hit me the moment I ate it. It had just the right amount of toowoomba's signature spiciness, so even though it's cream-based it wasn't greasy. That's what made it so addictive.

I twirled it around my fork and the sauce clung to the noodles really well. The noodles were cooked just right, with a chewy texture intact. Best of all, the shrimp were really plump. They were in great condition, with a bouncy bite every time I chewed.

Cream sauce and shrimp never fail, I realized once again. Bread comes with it too, and dipping it in the leftover sauce is honestly heavenly. The sauce is so good you end up scraping the plate clean. It's popular for a reason.

Are Pasta Go's churros worth ordering for dessert?
Pasta Go's churros came out freshly fried and hot, crispy outside and moist inside. I was pretty full, but I couldn't give up on churros. So I ordered them as dessert.

They had a moderate coating of sugar, so they weren't too sweet, just right. Finishing a cream pasta meal with a sweet dessert made the whole meal much more satisfying.

Why Pasta Go is a good budget pasta spot in Hongdae
If you're looking for a good-value pasta restaurant in Hongdae, Pasta Go Hongdae Branch seems like a really solid option. The prices are easy on the wallet, but the food quality was better than I expected. The garlic butter cream risotto had a wonderfully nutty flavor, and the shrimp toowoomba cream pasta, with its thick sauce and plump shrimp, was the best.

With the churros on top, I could enjoy everything from the meal to dessert. If you're searching for a date-worthy spot, a budget pasta place, or somewhere to go with friends without stress in Hongdae, I recommend giving Pasta Go a try. Next time I visit, I plan to work through the other pasta dishes one by one, haha
