Did you know Kuu Kuu now has raw salmon sashimi?!?! Wow,, I'm so happy, seriously!!!! I really love salmon, and I can eat sushi AND have all the raw salmon sashimi I want, haha! There's no way I could skip this, hehe.
And unlimited draft beer on top of that!!! Is the owner okay, haha. Kuu Kuu is already famous as an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet, but this time there was so much to eat: salmon sashimi, all kinds of sushi, lamb chops, smoked duck, seafood dishes and desserts.

Sushi lovers will be happy, of course, but it also seemed great for a family meal or a get-together with friends, haha. Today I'll walk you through what you can enjoy at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, from raw salmon sashimi to all the other dishes!! haha
Where is Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, and what about parking?
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is on the 6th floor of Seoul Onchun Building near Hagye Station, and it's listed that the building's parking lot is free for 2 hours with a meal. You can walk there from Hagye Station, and if you come by car you can use the building's lot, which I found convenient. If you're driving, check where the lot is and the conditions before you go.
When you're eating out with family or a big group, whether you can park is quietly important, haha. Opening hours at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch differ on weekdays and weekends, so check once before you visit!
Spacious and pleasant, great for family get-togethers
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is large and has high chairs, a play room, group seating and private rooms, so it suits family gatherings and company dinners. The first thing you notice is how big the place is. It feels bright and clean overall, with roomy tables and aisles, so it looked fine for eating with a big group.
At a sushi buffet you go back and forth to get food again and again, right? When the food stations are divided up in different sections, it's easier to find what you want to eat and much easier to move around, haha.
There are high chairs and a play room for when you visit with young children, plus group seating and private rooms, so it's a good fit for family events or company dinners. For birthdays or anniversaries when several people eat together, I thought it was worth considering as a Nowon meeting spot.
How varied is the menu at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch?

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch has not just sushi but sashimi, rolls, seafood dishes, Korean, Chinese and Western food, all in one place. Still, sushi is the first thing that comes to mind with Kuu Kuu!

With so many options, I couldn't decide what to eat first, haha.
When can you eat the raw salmon sashimi?
At Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, you can have the raw salmon sashimi on weekday dinners, weekends and public holidays. The salmon on top of sushi is good, but sashimi, where you enjoy the salmon itself without rice, has its own charm.
If you like salmon's soft texture and rich, nutty flavor, this is a dish worth your attention. A little soy sauce and wasabi on the side seemed to bring out the salmon's flavor even more.

Upgraded sushi that doesn't feel like buffet quality
At Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, the sushi has been upgraded overall this time, starting with the flatfish (gwangeo), and it comes out at the quality of a sushi restaurant. The flatfish sushi is charming for its clean taste and chewy texture, and the salmon sushi is known for its soft, nutty flavor. Besides the basics, you can also enjoy several kinds of rolls and gunkan (sushi "battleship" wraps).
But what's really amazing is, can you see how the sushi looks?!? It's not buffet-quality sushi,, honestly you can tell just from the photo, it comes out at the quality of a really delicious sushi restaurant!!

Can you see the quality of the tuna belly sushi too? The fish on top was seriously no joke. At a conveyor-belt sushi place, it looked like a plate would be over ₩5,000!
The shrimp sushi also came in raw shrimp and soy-marinated shrimp, so many kinds, and the quality of each one was no joke either!!
Lamb chops and smoked duck too
Besides sushi, Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch has meat dishes like lamb chops, so it works even when the people you came with have different tastes. Sushi lovers can eat sushi, and meat lovers can pick the meat dishes.

Finding lamb chops at a buffet, isn't that just totally amazing!!!! One portion of lamb chops usually runs ₩30,000–40,000!!
Croute soup and Western dishes
In the Western section of Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch, I enjoyed smoked dishes and all kinds of pasta :)

And this croute soup (soup baked under a pastry crust)!!!!! Isn't this something you only find at a fancy buffet?!!! Wow, you really have to try this. The flavor of the soup inside is seriously no joke, and the pastry on top is so good too!!!

There were pizzas, Korean snack-bar food and even hot dogs, so many kinds :)

Clam sake steamed dish and the made-to-order noodle station
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch also has a corner with steamed dishes including clams steamed in sake, plus fried food and Chinese dishes. Dishes you eat with broth, like the sake-steamed clams, have their own charm compared with other dishes.

There's also a made-to-order station where you can choose noodle dishes like jajang (black bean noodles), jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), udon and naengmemil (cold buckwheat noodles), so you can pick by taste. When you crave warm broth, add a soup dish, and when you want something more filling, pick meat or fried food, haha.

With Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Western food all prepared, even people who'd feel it a shame to eat only sushi can enjoy a varied meal.

Fruit, dessert cakes, tteok (rice cakes) and even jelly, so many kinds :)
A Chinese corner with dongpoyuk
The Chinese corner at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch has dongpoyuk (braised pork belly). Amazing, right!! You know how pricey fancy Chinese dishes are, right?!? And to eat this as much as you want at a buffet, isn't that really amazing?!?

There were flower buns (kkotppang), gochujapchae (pepper stir-fry) and even jjamppong, so many kinds.
Unlimited bead ice cream too!!
The highlight of the desserts at Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is the bead ice cream. What's really, really, really amazing is!!!! Bead ice cream is sold by the cup, and you all know a large cup is well over ₩10,000!!!! Wow,, to be able to eat this much as I like, honestly the per-person price could easily be exceeded.
There were lots of ice cream flavors, and the toppings were seriously no joke either. You can just make yourself a bingsu (shaved ice dessert)!!
It was a review of Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch that I was truly satisfied with. Please use it as a reference~~!
