Café after a Children's Grand Park walk: ₩500 Americano, Wonz Coffee

Maybe it's the lovely weather lately, but I've fallen back in love with café hopping. A café after a walk always feels extra cozy and healing, doesn't it?! I visited Wonz Coffee near Children's Grand Park in Seoul! I heard that adding an Americano to a sourdough set costs only ₩500, so I walked right in haha. Here comes my honest, totally satisfied review~!

Where is Wonz Coffee Children's Grand Park Main Branch, and what is it like inside?

Wonz Coffee Children's Grand Park Main Branch is near Children's Grand Park. The exterior is neat, so you can tell it's a café even from far away, and it wasn't hard to find. Maybe because it's close to the park, the whole place felt relaxed.

The first thing I noticed inside was that it's bigger than I expected. The tables are spaced generously, so it didn't feel stuffy at all.

The interior feels lively, which makes it a good place to go for a change of scenery :)

Seating at Wonz Coffee

The seating ranges from seats for two to group tables, so it works whether you come alone or with friends. The window seats get soft sunlight, which is great for photos too. The lighting overall isn't bright and feels calm, so it was comfortable to sit for a long time.

How to get a ₩500 Americano with the sourdough set

I ordered the sourdough set and an Americano, and adding the Americano to the set was ₩500 :) The price was the biggest surprise. Considering coffee prices these days, it's practically a freebie.

This is where you can tell Wonz Coffee is really serious about beans. You can choose the type of bean, and you can even switch to decaf for free. I mean, how is that even possible?!!!

And the cookies to go with it were really good too. Seriously, doesn't every single one look amazing?! The sourdough works as a meal, and the cookies work as snacks. Wonz Coffee is the best!!! ><

How does the sourdough at Wonz Coffee taste?

The sourdough is slightly crisp outside and chewy inside. It isn't too hard, so it's easy for anyone to eat, and even without butter or jam there's a subtle nutty flavor.

The bread itself is plain and mild, so it balanced really well with the coffee. Breads at cafés these days are often too sweet or too heavy, but the sourdough here felt clean overall, which I liked.

A café to stop by after a walk in Children's Grand Park

Wonz Coffee is right by Children's Grand Park, so it's perfect as part of a walk. I came in after doing a lap of the park, and the combo was really good. Nature outside, then a cup of coffee and a rest inside. I can see why so many people come here.

Chocolate s'mores cookie and an Americano with shots on the side

A sweet chocolate s'mores cookie with an Americano was such a good match. And there was one more thing that showed how serious Wonz Coffee is about coffee: they prepare the shots separately!!! Pouring it myself makes me feel like a barista, and anyway it just feels great haha

Bean choices and free decaf at Wonz Coffee

There's such a wide variety of beans here too! You can pick the style you like :) The decaf keeps its flavor and balance, so it completely shakes off the image of decaf as coffee that doesn't taste good :) With this much variety, it's worth checking them out!!

If you want a light coffee, or a café to stop by after a walk, Wonz Coffee near Children's Grand Park is worth a visit at least once. Next time I'm planning to try a different dessert :)
