Where to park and how to find Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye Branch

Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch (다담샤브샤브&월남쌈 위례점) is on the 3rd floor of G&G Plaza on Wiryegwangjang-ro, and the building has a big car park, so it's easy to get to by car. I found it while looking for a place for a family meal or gathering in Wirye, but today it's just me and my husband on a date. Yay~

The car park in the building is large, and there's plenty of space, so I could eat without any parking stress. We took the elevator up to the restaurant, and the building directory shows Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam in big letters, so first-timers can find it easily.

Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye Branch prices and dining rules

The entrance has the menu and prices laid out at a glance, so you can check before going in. Adult weekday and weekend prices are listed separately, and elementary school and preschool children have their own prices, which is handy for families.

Next to the entrance there's a banner with the hours, set out clearly from opening time through break time to last order, so it's easy to check before you visit. The dining time is 120 minutes, so you can eat at a relaxed pace.

Strollers, kick scooters and bicycles aren't allowed in, and since lots of customers share the space, you can feel the consideration for keeping things orderly. Thanks to that, the inside stays tidy and the atmosphere is comfortable.

Takeout and accepted payment methods

Takeout is available too, so you can enjoy it at home. The entrance has detailed notes on how to order takeout and the add-on menu. They also accept the high-oil-price support fund and Seongnam Sarang gift vouchers, which makes it even better value. I like that you can pay in so many ways.

Seating and atmosphere at Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye Branch

The tables are neatly set, and since this is a Wirye Station shabu-shabu favorite, the induction burners are kept spotless too.

The room isn't excessively large, but the seating is laid out efficiently, so it didn't feel cramped. There are lots of booth seats, which are comfy for groups, and the clean interior and soft lighting make it cozy. Customers kept coming in through the evening, so you can feel how popular it is in Seongnam.

What's on the self-serve bar?

The self-serve bar has vegetables for the rice paper wraps, vegetables plus dumplings, rice cakes and kalguksu (knife-cut noodles) for the shabu-shabu, unlimited beef, porridge ingredients, ice cream and a bean-to-cup coffee machine. Instructions for how to use it are posted too. And there are heaps of fresh vegetables for the wraps. Can you see it with your own eyes? So freshly kept!

This side has the fresh vegetables, dumplings, rice cakes and noodles for shabu-shabu, and honestly it's all mouthwatering. It's kept tidy and every item looks fresh. The hardworking owner and staff keep tending it again and again, which makes this Namwirye Station favorite even more trustworthy.

Unlimited beef: beef belly and beef chuck

The best thing about Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye Branch is that the beef is unlimited. Some places serve the meat only once, but here it's generously unlimited. Wow. Beef belly and beef chuck. Bee-bee-bee-beef, eat as much as you like! haha

They also have the ingredients ready to make porridge after the shabu-shabu. Will we manage porridge today? ^^

There's ice cream for dessert too, which everyone from kids to grandparents loves. Very Namwirye Station favorite of them. I came on a date with my husband today, but I'm thinking of the kids who didn't come along. That's just being a mom, right? haha

There's a quality bean-to-cup coffee machine, and the sauces are kept neat too. Overall it feels solidly put together and well maintained.

Beef chuck shabu-shabu in a single seafood broth

We could have picked two broths, but we decided on just one: seafood broth. I went back and forth over which to choose, then settled neatly. Other people seemed to pick two flavors, but at this Wirye favorite we're going all in on a single broth..^^

The meat is beef chuck, and the vegetables are an assortment my husband picked to his taste. Just looking at the ingredients makes my mouth water.. that's a natural reaction, right?

First I put in the vegetables and boil them hard, then lay the beef chuck on top and simmer briefly. The broth itself must be good, because the smell is so rich and lovely. Hurry up and boil, please.. haha

It's boiling nicely. I love it. Even looking at it now I want to eat it so badly. Open wide~ Ahh~

How we made our rice paper wraps

Before the shabu-shabu, we tried the Dadam rice paper wraps (wolnamssam) first. I brought three sauces, and adding chili to the fish sauce made it even tastier.

Pile in as many vegetables as you like, add shabu-shabu beef, roll it up in rice paper softened in hot water, and dunk it in your favorite sauce. Healthy and delicious, both at once. Eat, eat, and eat some more..

How did the seafood broth shabu-shabu taste?

Dipping meat and vegetables in the light seafood broth was clean and delicious, and my husband and I kept saying how good it was as we ate. Now let's properly enjoy shabu-shabu at this shabu-shabu favorite. My husband loves the healthy feel of shabu-shabu more than grilled meat. Right in his taste!

With shabu-shabu you can eat plenty of meat and vegetables, which I love. Eat, eat and eat more.. dipping in sauce, eating it plain. My spoon and chopsticks never get a rest.

Dipped in the light seafood broth, I wondered whether anything could be cleaner and tastier. My husband and I kept going, "So good, so good." I want to come again with my mom. haha

Finishing with ramen noodles instead of porridge

At Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye Branch, we skipped porridge and finished by adding ramen noodles to the rich broth full of beef flavor. I thought about putting in rice for porridge, but we settled on ramen in the rich beef broth. We're usually out of sync like a lottery draw, but this day we matched perfectly on ramen. haha

The sweet potato rice cake is good too. So chewy..

Ramen with the vegetables, ramen with the meat. Need I say more? The chopsticks can't help but get busy. Porridge is good too, but I recommend the ramen at this Wirye favorite. That flavor coming out of the rich beef broth. Once you try it, you'll be shouting for more~ haha

It's unlimited, but you know to take only what you can eat, right? We brought exactly what we could eat and cleared it all. Neat, right? haha

Dessert: an iced americano

For dessert, I took an ice cup to the bean-to-cup coffee machine at the Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye Branch self-serve bar and had an iced americano. Ahh~ ahh~ ahh~ Having dessert all in one place is so nice. Very much a Wirye favorite. Good good.
