Bingdongdaeng (빙동댕) is a bingsu (Korean shaved ice) and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) food truck in the outfield food truck zone by Ticket Booth 1 at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Songpa, Seoul, parked next to a cream shrimp truck and a Fox Hot Dog truck. On an outfield game day the writer tried all three trucks: the Bingdongdaeng bingsu was plenty for 3 people, the 15,000-won cream shrimp came with fist-sized shrimp, and the Fox Hot Dog set included a milkshake. The game ended in a win, making the cream shrimp a lucky-charm food and leaving the outfield seats with nothing to miss.

Gangnam Western restaurant, lunch amid blind dates: Eulji Darak

Eulji Darak Gangnam Station is a white-toned Western restaurant on the 2nd floor right by Gangnam Station in Seoul. Over lunch with a younger brother, the writer ordered omurice, spicy cream pasta, katsu sando (pork cutlet sandwich) and a Coke Zero while trying not to laugh, because the tables on both sides were all blind dates. Eulji Darak Gangnam Station serves clean, tidy food, but its atmosphere makes it worth revisiting for a blind date, a date or a lunch meetup.

Seolleung lash lift so relaxing I slept through it: On The Boutique

On The Boutique is a lash lift salon near Seonjeongneung Station in Gangnam, Seoul. After a design consultation with director Rahee on eye shape and lash condition, the writer had the On The Ttolmang Perm and was comfortable enough to sleep through the roughly 1-hour treatment. The tight, lifted curl from On The Boutique held up well, so the morning eyelash curler rarely comes out anymore.
