When you walk in, there are detailed signs for the recommended best combos, how to store the castella, and how to eat it, so you can enjoy it in lots of different ways. It's soft and big, so you really can eat it many different ways ❤️ If you want it warm, 30 seconds in the microwave! I kept mine refrigerated and microwaved it for 30 seconds, and it came out soft and warm — great with milk! Adding whipped cream and fruit makes it even more delicious...💗 And if you can't decide on the cream, there's a half-and-half whipped cream castella, so no need to agonize over it.

Which Jinsim castella flavor should you choose?

There's a whole lineup: the plain Jinsim castella with its rich flavor, the whipped cream castella that's the definition of sweet and soft, and the chocolate castella you eat for the fun of biting into bits of chocolate. As you eat it, the nuttiness of the egg and the richness of the milk come through, and because it's mildly sweet, the kids ended up enjoying it even more! Since it's preservative-free, keep to 6 days refrigerated or a month frozen, and it's perfect for portioning out as snacks!
