Ttukseom Station pasta restaurant: truffle & yolk gnocchi, Brivite

Ttukseom favorite, Brivite Seongsu! If you're looking for a pasta restaurant with a great atmosphere in Seongsu-dong, this is one I'd recommend.

Today is my recommendation review of Brivite, a Ttukseom Station favorite! There are lots of pastas and they're tasty, the sides are solid too, and it's perfect for dates or meeting friends. If you want a pasta place with a nice mood in Seongsu, I highly recommend it! Check out the menu and atmosphere before you go ◡̈

How to get to Brivite Seongsu and where to park

From Exit 3 of Ttukseom Station, walk 2 minutes past the Ttukseom Art Museum and you're at Brivite Seongsu. For parking, use a paid lot near Brivite, though the Seongsu alleys are easier to reach by public transport.

Getting there from Ttukseom Station

Brivite is easy to reach from Ttukseom Station: take Exit 3 and walk 2 minutes past the Ttukseom Art Museum! Gentle Monster, Seongsu's café street and Seoulsup are all nearby, so it's a perfect stop on a Seongsu date.

You can use nearby paid parking!

• Seoulsup A1 Center underground car park

The Seongsu alleys are full of hidden date spots, so I'd recommend public transport over driving.

Brivite Seongsu interior and seating

The inside of Brivite Seongsu is ivory-toned and modern, with tables for 2 to 4 people. It worked well both for a date and for a wedding invitation get-together.

Neat tableware and wet wipes were already set out, and the menu came right after we were seated, so we could take our time choosing.

Brivite Seongsu menu: what comes in a set?

Brivite Seongsu is a pasta specialist, so there are plenty of pastas, plus gnocchi and risotto. If you order a set menu, you get two main dishes and a side.

We ordered the Beet Set for 2, which came with drinks too, hehe.

With the Beet Set for 2 at Brivite Seongsu, the drinks came first and then the mains arrived one by one. The glasses came full of ice, so refreshing!

Spicy eggplant fries: good even if you hate eggplant?

The spicy eggplant fries came with a generous bowl of spicy chipotle sauce for dipping, and even though I don't like eggplant, they were so good that I kept dipping. Addictively spicy... they're fried, so how could they not be good 😋

Salmon steak pasta: flavor and portion size

The salmon steak pasta is topped with grilled salmon, which is a bit salty, but the ragù base made the sauce rich and delicious. The white sauce on top made it tangy and tasty, too. The portion is generous, plenty for two!

Porcini shrimp gnocchi with truffle and egg yolk added

For the porcini shrimp gnocchi, I added truffle and egg yolk to the chewy gnocchi and it came out nutty and rich. The shrimp were bouncy and great together, and the truffle sauce is seriously amazing...❤ It's so moist you don't even need a drink!!

Verdict: when to visit Brivite Seongsu

The prices and interior make Brivite in Seongsu a perfect date course, great for a day out around Seoulsup or Ttukseom. If you're looking for a tasty Western restaurant at a reasonable price, I highly recommend Brivite! Great for meeting friends. Follow on Naver and get your free ade too~
