I was out and about in Gwanggyo with my kid recently and stopped by Café Diaz Galleria Gwanggyo, a cake spot he loves, to pick up a cake for him.

What makes Café Diaz cakes special?
The biggest thing about Café Diaz cakes is that they're generously piled with fresh, seasonal fruit! They look gorgeous and colorful, which makes them perfect for anniversaries, gifts, or parties :D
On this visit, alongside the refreshing peach cake, they had a fig cake out for the fall season. The fig was piled up like a mountain just to look at, and honestly it was pure art ✨️

Whole cakes at Café Diaz Galleria Gwanggyo can be ordered by phone or in person up to 2 days before pickup, so keep that in mind if you're planning ahead for a cake!
Besides whole cakes, they also have a solid lineup of slice cakes and spoon cakes that are great for a light dessert.

This time at Café Diaz Galleria Gwanggyo we ordered a chocolate cream cake, a decaf Americano, and the signature cream latte. I packed up two coffees for my husband and me, plus the chocolate cream cake my son picked out.
What does the signature cream latte taste like?
Café Diaz's flagship signature cream latte is sweet, nutty coffee through and through ☕️ The soft, sweet cream, the heavy body, and the rich, deep coffee aroma all come together really well — it's genuinely delicious! I'd definitely recommend trying the Diaz cream latte 👍
Is the chocolate cream cake greasy?
The chocolate cream cake my son chose has a really thick layer of chocolate cream between soft chocolate sponge layers. I thought such a thick cream layer might be greasy, but it wasn't greasy at all! On top of that, the chocolate had a rich, upscale sweetness to it, making it a high-quality chocolate cake. It was sweet enough that my kid ate it up happily 😊
