The three dishes we ordered for our couple's dinner

We ordered a large mul milmyeon (9,000 won), suyuk baekban (13,000 won) and 10 mandu (7,000 won). After we ordered, the staff brought us basic side dishes along with warm broth first. These days it's cool in the mornings and evenings, so having warm broth was really nice.

So generous, right...!? We may have ordered a bit too much, but we'd been busy running around getting ready to head to Seoul and hadn't had a proper meal, so we were really hungry.

Suyuk baekban: clean, deep broth with chewy boiled pork

The suyuk baekban at Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap is 13,000 won, and since you get to enjoy both the suyuk and the broth, I've been ordering it a lot lately.

Suyuk baekban table setting

The broth had a clean yet deep flavor.

I found it just right as it was, but my husband wanted it spicier, so he added chili paste and salted shrimp.

Chewy and savory suyuk!

Chewy suyuk from the suyuk baekban

Wrapped in lettuce with pickled radish and dipped in the special sauce, it was so good I was sad to watch the meat disappear.

Large mul milmyeon: a huge portion with suyuk hiding under the noodles

The large mul milmyeon is 9,000 won, and the portion was really huge~! Since my husband and I were both starving, we went with the large size.

Generous portion of the large mul milmyeon

They cut the noodles in half and gently started loosening them up. While they were doing that, we discovered pieces of suyuk tucked underneath the noodles. The chewy, smooth milmyeon and the soft, moist suyuk filled my mouth completely 💕 It was so good I couldn't stop reaching for more with my chopsticks, haha.

10 mandu: dip them in the tangy house soy sauce

We thought two dishes might fall a little short, so we also ordered 10 mandu (7,000 won)... and wow, we thought we were going to burst.

10 mandu packed full of filling

The mandu were packed full of filling, and they taste twice as good when dipped in the tangy house soy sauce, so make sure to dip them! I ended up just dunking mine all the way in, haha.

Overall review of Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap Busan Station Branch

From the warm broth that warmed us up on a chilly day, to the generously filled mandu, the tender suyuk baekban, and the refreshing, chewy mul milmyeon, every dish came together perfectly. We got to fully enjoy both the clean yet deep broth and a really filling meal.

If you're looking for a hearty, delicious meal near Busan Station, I highly recommend stopping by Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap Busan Station Branch, located right next to Busan Station!
