Orange Bagel in Suwon: an early-morning brunch
I finally went for brunch at Orange Bagel in Gosaek-dong, Suwon. Let's start with the menu of this Suwon bakery café ↓
Today's drinks: an iced americano and a hot decaf café latte! Good to know: drinks at Orange Bagel can be switched to decaf or oat milk~
Does Orange Bagel still have lots of bagels early in the morning?
Even early in the morning, the bagel selection at Orange Bagel wasn't empty. I came at a really early hour, so it was relaxed, which was actually nice, and the variety was just as big as last time!
I came today determined to eat this one: the Deep Choco bagel! Chocolate baguettes seem to be a trend lately..? As I write this post, I've tried both the chocolate baguette and the chocolate bagel..!

After much agonizing, today's order was the Deep Choco bagel, the bacon egg mayo bagel, and mushroom soup! Every time I come to Orange Bagel I order one bagel I always love and one new one.

Oh, I've had the bacon egg mayo bagel many times, but warming it in the oven was a first..(they told me it tastes even better warmed). Having tried it, it's really different.. Definitely get it warmed. You use the oven on the 1st floor, and
then head up to the 2nd floor~~ We go to the 2nd floor every time! The 2nd floor at Orange Bagel is roomier and more relaxed, which I like.
The seats vary a lot, from 2-person tables to group seating. It seems good for anyone looking for a Suwon café that takes groups, and it's great for families on weekends too~ I couldn't decide where to sit and ended up near the window haha
Oh, there was a 3rd floor too so I went up, and the rooftop has lots of tables like this! It would be so nice in the evening!
How is the mushroom soup at Orange Bagel?

Should you warm the bacon egg mayo bagel?
I recommend having the bacon egg mayo bagel at Orange Bagel warmed in the oven. I order this every time, and warmed in the oven the bagel turns crispy outside and soft inside, so it's even better~ Definitely get it warmed :) So good~~
It's packed with egg mayo inside~ and it goes so well with the nutty bagel.
Is the Deep Choco bagel at Orange Bagel very sweet?
Only the chocolate filling is sweet in the Deep Choco bagel at Orange Bagel; the rest was less sweet than I expected. And now, the Deep Choco bagel!
Chocolate baguettes are trending lately, right? I tried one following the trend, so I got curious about the Deep Choco bagel at Orange Bagel and ordered it!
At first I worried it would be just sweet, but the part without the chocolate filling wasn't as sweet as I expected, and only the filled part was sweet, though not overly so, which was just right for me!
It paired perfectly with coffee, and after the chocolate baguette and now the Deep Choco bagel, I feel like I've fallen deep for chocolate breads..
The part with the chocolate filling was exactly my taste~ I personally love chocolate breads, and the Deep Choco bagel at Orange Bagel is moderately sweet with a deep chocolate flavor, so I really enjoyed it!
