Why CORR is worth a visit among Sajik-dong dessert cafés
If you're looking for a great dessert spot in Sajik-dong, CORR belongs on your list. A 4.74 rating and 1,465 reviews already say a lot, but you'll understand why even better once you go.
I was drawn in by the one-line intro, "the temptation of a rich, dense butter bar," but once I got there I couldn't take my eyes off the financier (small French almond-butter cake) lineup either. Quite a few people still don't know a café this lovely exists in Sajik-dong. Go once and you'll see right away why it has regulars.
Getting to CORR, parking, and perks to grab before you go
CORR is 750 m from Exit 2 of Sajik Station, so it's easy to reach by public transport. Come from the back gate of Busan National University of Education toward Sajik Stadium and it isn't hard to find. It's easy to miss if you don't pass through the neighborhood often, but once you know it, it's the kind of place you keep thinking about.
You'd regret missing the perk, too. If you follow CORR on Naver Place, you get a coupon for one free plain financier. Be sure to set it up before you visit!! Parking is also available!!

CORR's atmosphere and dessert display
The inside of CORR is clean and tidy. The desserts sit in an open display case you can take in at a glance, so the moment you walk in, the agonizing over what to order begins. If you're torn about which dessert café to pick, stand in front of CORR's case and the choice gets easier. Every single item looks too good to walk past.
It already has a reputation as a top dessert spot in Sajik-dong, but once inside it's cozier and calmer than I expected, the kind of space where you want to sit for a long time.

Group visits and timing tips at CORR
CORR takes groups and reservations, so it works well for small gatherings. Popular items sometimes sell out quickly in the afternoon, so I recommend coming early.
If you're hunting for a café in Sajik-dong, CORR is the kind of place where, once you've been, your next visit is already decided. If you want to fill the table with desserts in Sajik-dong, starting at CORR is the right answer.

What I ordered at CORR: strawberry latte, homemade yuja tea, 3 financiers, butter rusk
This time at CORR I ordered a strawberry latte, homemade yuja (citron) tea, a fig financier, a Lotus financier, a nut financier, and a butter rusk.

What does the strawberry latte taste like?
CORR's strawberry latte looks pretty from the first glance. A rich strawberry aroma comes up, and the sweetness isn't overdone but finishes clean. The strawberry doesn't taste artificial, and the natural sweet-tart fruit feeling stays, so my mood lifted with every sip.
Homemade yuja tea for days when coffee feels like too much
CORR's homemade yuja tea has a strong, warm citrus aroma. The yuja pieces are left intact, so you actually chew the fruit as you drink, and that's the highlight. It's sweet, followed by a faint bitterness, which makes it just right for days when coffee feels like too much haha

Fig financier: crisp outside, moist inside, grown-up flavor
I tried all three CORR financiers, and each had its own personality, so picking just one was hard. The fig financier is baked crisp on the outside with a moist inside. The sweet, slightly bitter aftertaste typical of figs blends with the buttery aroma for a grown-up flavor. I picked it up planning just one bite, and before I knew it, it was gone.

Lotus or nut financier: which one to pick?
CORR's Lotus financier has a deep caramel aroma from the Lotus biscuit and a high concentration of sweetness, so it's ideal for anyone who loves sweet things. The nut financier is overwhelmingly nutty. It's packed with nuts inside, and every bite brought a rich, hefty flavor.
The nut financier felt the most filling of the three, and even after eating all three I wanted more and almost ordered extra.
The surprisingly addictive butter rusk
I picked up CORR's butter rusk last, and it was more addictive than I expected. The thinly sliced bread is baked crisp, the butter aroma bursts at the front, and a nutty richness lingers behind. Alternate it with your drink and you'll keep reaching for more.
