Why I picked Insaengdwaeji Songpa Branch for late-night pork belly near Munjeong Station
Insaengdwaeji Songpa Branch (인생돼지 송파본점) is a pork belly restaurant on the B1 floor of Songpa Prugio City, right near Munjeong Station. I went on Friday, October 2, 2026, late at night, after my companion finished a workout training session. We were hungry and wanted a cozy date for two.
I'd been looking for a place where we could eat comfortably late and still get juicy meat, and that's how I found it. It's on the B1 floor, but the building is open to the sky above, so the space felt airy and not stuffy at all. The restaurant is already famous among meat lovers, so my expectations were really high before we even arrived.
As soon as we sat down, we decided to try the signature pork belly and happily placed our order. It's right by Munjeong Station, so it's easy to find, and the surroundings were pleasant. I walked in feeling good, and the cozy, friendly neighborhood vibe of Songpa made me look forward to dinner even more.

Park in the Prugio City underground car park, take the elevator up to B1, and the restaurant is right behind you. Parking was easy, and it wasn't hard to find.

Inside, the walls are packed with autographs from lots of celebrities, so you can feel the restaurant's long track record right away.

Even though it was late, customers kept coming in, so it was a little hard to freely take photos of the interior, but that just shows how popular it is.

It's on the B1 floor near Munjeong Station, but thanks to the open-topped building, the air circulates well and it felt cool and pleasant. They say the owner has stuck with this one thing, pork, for 10 years in Munjeong-dong, and true to the name, the whole place was full of energy and expertise.

Staff-grilled charcoal pork belly: how did it taste?

Once the charcoal comes in, a staff member grills the pork belly carefully from start to finish. It was a really convenient system.

I didn't have to lift a finger and could just eat, so even without my husband, our usual meat master, I never felt his absence and ate in comfort. 🤣

When I put a golden-brown piece of pork belly in my mouth, rich juices burst out, and I immediately understood why Songpa locals keep loving it.

The savory doenjang stew and soft steamed egg were a fantastic match too, delivering the deep, rich flavor you'd expect from a famous restaurant.
