Jangjak Saenggalbi Jongno Main Branch is a galbi (Korean BBQ ribs) restaurant in Jongno, Jung-gu, Daegu, where staff grill the meat at your table. On a Daegu trip with a younger sibling and a daughter, the writer ordered fresh galbi (250g, ₩29,000), marinated galbi (250g, ₩29,000), bibim naengmyeon (₩7,000) and jjagyechi (₩5,000), and a complimentary cypress-steamed platter kept everyone's chopsticks busy. For a family dinner with kids in Jongno, Daegu, Jangjak Saenggalbi Jongno Main Branch is a solid choice.
Hong-i-jip Ilgwang is a charcoal-grilled galbi (marinated pork rib) restaurant near Ilgwang Station in Ilgwang-eup, Gijang, Busan. On a family trip to Ilgwang Beach with her mom and younger sister, the writer ordered two portions of handmade galbi marinated and slow-aged for 48 hours at low temperature (11,900 won per portion), Bidan Ogyeop (silky five-layer pork belly) and bibim naengmyeon (6,000 won). Mom loved the galbi most and the sister loved the Bidan Ogyeop most, making Hong-i-jip Ilgwang a good place for a family to share a charcoal-grilled meat dinner near Ilgwang Beach.
Vivienne Hair, Changwon Sangnam branch is a reservation-only hair salon on the 2nd floor in Sangnam-dong, Seongsan-gu, Changwon.
