Jeonpo curry restaurant with 2,000-won hourly parking: Sarugak20

I heard there was a curry place worth visiting in Jeonpo, so I went! The curry was so delicious, and the cozy atmosphere and cute little decor items made it such a pretty spot.

Sarugak20 hours and where to park in Jeonpo

Sarugak20 is on the basement 1st floor at 78 Seojeon-ro 68beon-gil, Busanjin-gu, Busan. Hours are 09:30 - 19:30, closed Mondays (check Naver Place for other closures!). Takeout, delivery, pet-friendly, wifi, and easy payment are all available.

Parking requires a short walk, but I used Duwon parking lot! It's 2,000 won per hour, which is on the cheaper side for the Jeonpo area, and the owner is friendly, so I always park there haha.

Floor seating, solo seats and the room at Sarugak20

Inside Sarugak20 there are wooden tables and chairs, plus cozy floor-seating tables, so you can sit comfortably depending on your party size or preference!

There are two floor-seating tables in total, and each space has a slightly different vibe. Since they're decorated so cozily, it almost feels like visiting a Japanese home haha. It looked quiet and comfortable — great for a meal!

There are quite a lot of solo-dining seats too! They run along the window and next to the counter, so it looks like a great spot for a solo lunch haha.

And there's a sink in one corner of the store! There was hand wash and hand cream right there too. I always wash my hands before eating, so it was so nice to be able to use it right away — and the hand wash smelled so, so good.

Sarugak20 menu and what was ordered

Here's the menu! Since curry is the main dish, there were all kinds of curries and side dishes. I ordered as follows.

• Sweet potato cheese croquette ₩3,500
• Zero cola ₩2,500

They're also running a review event, and you can buy frozen curry packs to take home, so you could enjoy it comfortably at home too.

At most restaurants you just sit and wait for your food, but Sarugak20 also sells small decor items along with its interior, so it's fun to browse like a little goods shop haha.

Water is self-serve. If you head toward the counter, there are two kinds of water. The lime water is so good!

How do the So-pecial and Sarugak curries taste, and how do refills work?

The food came out! It arrived almost all at once, which made it great to eat together. The visuals were so pretty, perfect for photos! The owner said to let them know if we needed more rice or curry — refills are possible, so anyone who wants to eat heartily should definitely ask.

This is the So-pecial curry! It's curry topped with one sausage and a poached egg. The curry itself is amazing, and it's packed with ground meat inside too, so the texture was great! With the cheese it was savory and salty — genuinely delicious. Highly recommend.

And here's the Sarugak curry! It's curry topped with a crispy, well-fried pork cutlet. The pork cutlet was way more delicious than I expected — I was surprised! Crispy outside, juicy inside — genuinely the best. Better than plenty of dedicated pork cutlet restaurants!

It was so good I wanted to order the pork cutlet on its own!

Sweet potato cheese croquette with yuzu sauce

And here's the sweet potato cheese croquette! Two croquettes sit on top of cabbage with yuzu sauce underneath, and eating them together was surprisingly delicious! It's great with the curry, and just as great eaten on its own.
