In short
Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a Jeju-themed haejangguk (hangover soup) restaurant in Ingye-dong, Suwon. The writer ordered two basic haejangguk at 12,000 won each and a dombe pork and yang-muchim (seasoned tripe salad) set for 20,000 won. The first-ever tripe salad, chewy dombe pork and deep broth without any artificial seasoning taste all satisfied. What is Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch?
Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch (제주은희네해장국 수원인계점) is a hangover soup restaurant in Ingye-dong, Suwon, built around Jeju Island flavors and atmosphere. On days when you crave a spicy broth and hearty meat, haejangguk (hangover soup) naturally comes to mind, so I paid a visit.
With its rich broth simmered for 24 hours and its filling meals, it seems popular with office workers around Ingye-dong. Hours are 07:00–22:00 on weekdays and 09:00–22:00 on weekends, and I hear there is no break time.

Exterior and free parking at Jeju Eunhuine
From the outside you see a tidy building with "Hello! JEJU" written on it. Wait, is this Jeju? Haha 😄
A dolhareubang (Jeju stone grandfather statue) model and a stone wall are set up, so it really feels like a restaurant on Jeju Island. There are parking spaces in front of the restaurant and in the building, so you can bring a car without worry.

There was a parking lot, so I parked easily and walked in.

Jeju Eunhuine menu and open-kitchen interior
The menu runs from haejangguk with a deep broth of Haenam dried radish greens (ugeoji) and fresh bean sprouts, to chewy offal soup (naejangtang), plus Jeju specialties like traditional dombe pork (boiled pork sliced on a board) and yang-muchim (seasoned tripe salad). With solo seats for eating or drinking alone and free parking, it seems like an easy place to drop in anytime.

Hygienic disposable non-woven aprons are provided.

The kitchen is open so you can see inside, and you can feel their pride in cleanliness.

The dining room is spacious and clean. So clean that I wondered if it had only just opened...

What we ordered and what it cost
Using the tablet on the table, I ordered two basic haejangguk (₩12,000 each) and, as a side, one dombe pork + yang-muchim set (₩20,000).

The side dishes were neat, the rice was multigrain, and even the spoons and chopsticks came wrapped one by one in paper, so it felt very hygienic. The seokbakji (radish kimchi) was so good!
How was the dombe pork and tripe salad set?
The set comes with a generous serving of sliced dombe pork and tangy-spicy yang-muchim. Garlic and chili peppers are placed on top too.

Dombe pork (Jeju-style boiled pork)
The dombe pork has a good balance of lean meat and fat, and is more chewy than soft. Tender, chewy and so good! Dipped lightly in saeujeot (salted shrimp sauce), it gained extra savoriness and tasted great.
Yang-muchim: trying tripe salad for the first time
The yang-muchim has chewy tripe and vegetables in a sour, sweet and spicy dressing. Eaten with the boiled pork, it was so delicious. It was my first time trying it... thumbs up!

How is the hangover soup broth at Jeju Eunhuine?
The basic haejangguk here contains fresh seonji (congealed ox blood) with no gamey smell, packed with beef, bean sprouts and glass noodles. The broth tastes deeply simmered, with no MSG flavor.
Mix dadaegi (seasoned chili paste) and minced garlic into the clean broth and it turns spicy yet deep. The cool crunch of the bean sprouts and the rich meat broth come together, leaving my stomach warm and full. So good!
Verdict: is Jeju Eunhuine in Ingye-dong worth it?
Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a place for a satisfying meal: rich broth, generous ingredients, and a great pairing of dombe pork and yang-muchim. With the self-serve bar, friendly service and comfortable atmosphere, it's a good visit when you want a hangover cure or a hearty meal. Deep, spicy Jeju-style broth, tender dombe pork and spicy yang-muchim made it a perfect meal.
