Mangwon Hangang Park outdoor café for ube cloud drinks: Puru Papa

I visited Puru Papa Hangang MAPOINT Branch, a dessert spot at Mangwon Hangang Park where you can enjoy drinks and desserts with a cool Han River view. Where is Puru Papa Hangang MAPOINT Branch, and where do you park?

Puru Papa Hangang MAPOINT Branch is on the 1st floor of MAPOINT Naru in Mangwon Hangang Park. You can park at the Mangwon Hangang Park parking lot — there's no separate parking support.

You cross this connecting bridge to get into MAPOINT Naru ☺️

Outdoor tables and indoor seating at Puru Papa

Puru Papa Hangang MAPOINT Branch had a ton of outdoor tables. There are several other shops besides Puru Papa inside MAPOINT Naru, so lots of people were enjoying all kinds of food and drinks.

Inside Puru Papa there were about 3 small tables to sit at. But most people seemed to sit outside to enjoy the Han River view 😊

Puru Papa Hangang MAPOINT Branch has way more than coffee — ade, juice, tea, shakes, smoothies, and more. Apparently it's especially known for ice cream, but on the day we visited, every ice cream flavor was sold out, so sadly we couldn't try it 😭 Guess we'll have to come back for ice cream next time.

Interestingly, they also sell sushi and fruit cups. Lots of runners and cyclists doing their thing along the Han River were stopping by to grab some! Looked like a good snack to grab while doing sports on the river.

They seem to have just released new coconut water drinks topped with different flavored creams. Since it's summer, a refreshing sweet coconut drink suddenly sounded perfect 😍 So we decided to try the coconut cloud and the ube cloud!!

We grabbed a spot at a cool outdoor table — a seat where you can enjoy the wide-open Han River view and feel the cool river breeze.

The Han River view at Mangwon Hangang Park is just gorgeous. The clouds made it even more atmospheric. We even got to watch a Han River water bus go by, which was pretty cool to see 👀

Every drink was delicious. The iced Americano, great value at ₩2,900, was rich and nutty, and the sweet, cool blue lemonade sipped while looking at the river was pure refreshment ❣️

How were the coconut cloud and ube cloud?

The new coconut water drinks were a total win!! The refreshing coconut water totally washed away the summer thirst. The coconut cream and ube cream on top had a sweet, nutty flavor that was delicious. The chewy fruit/jelly bits packed inside the coconut water were also a fun texture 🩷 Highly recommend!!

These coconut waters solved my thirst and gave me a sugar boost at the same time 😊

What the oreo cake tastes like

Puru Papa's oreo cake is served frozen and thawed out for you, which made the cream taste more like ice cream — even more delicious. The cake itself was moist and soft, so I enjoyed it sweetly together with the drinks 👍
