Gyeongbokgung café for brûlée lemon and cheese baum: The Baum
The Baum Gyeongbokgung Branch is a German baumkuchen dessert café on Jahamun-ro near Gyeongbokgung Station in Jongno, Seoul. The writer ordered three kinds of baumkuchen — brûlée lemon baum, cheese baum and choco eiffel baum — with an iced americano, and sat comfortably thanks to the widely spaced seating spread over the first and second floors. Of the baumkuchen tried here for the first time, the favorite was the brûlée lemon baum, whose caramelized top you crack with a spoon.
