Gojan-dong, Ansan dessert café: bread microwave, ₩12,000 mango bingsu
In short
Flowerpot Cafe Gojan Branch is a bakery café in Gojan-dong, Ansan, behind the AW Convention Center. With group seating and baby chairs, it suits wedding afterparties and family gatherings. On a weekend lunch visit, the order was an iced Americano, a watermelon juice and a 12,000-won mango bingsu (shaved ice dessert), and bread could be warmed in the café's own microwave. The mango bingsu used frozen mango, a small letdown, but it was worth the price, and the huge bread selection makes Flowerpot Cafe a good-value pick.

What are the interior and seating like?

The inside was spacious and comfortable enough for group use! There's a restroom inside the café too, which made things convenient, and it's a great spot to escape the summer heat. Visiting on a weekend at lunchtime, I saw some people there for a wedding afterparty, and lots of families using it as a group.
Bread selection, menu board and the bread microwave
There was a good variety of coffee, non-coffee, drinks, smoothies, and teas for people who can't have caffeine, and the prices weren't too high either, which made it easy to use.

Visiting on a weekend lunch, a lot of the popular breads were sold out, but since there's such a wide variety, even what was left looked delicious 🙂 There was even a summer fruit mango wakppu salt bread — I definitely want to try that next time!

There were several salt bread varieties — plain, hazelnut, and anbutter — plus sweet potato campagne (fermented country loaf), nurungji bread (scorched rice-flavored bread), and other savory, plain breads that I think adults would love too 🙂 The prices felt like good value for the size of the bread. And cleverly, the store even has a microwave, so you can warm your bread up after buying it haha! It tastes even better warm, so make sure to use it!

I'd eaten a full meal beforehand so I was too stuffed for cake, but there were plenty of options like cheesecake and chocolate brownie that would go great with coffee! There's even organic juice for kids to drink, so families can find something for every age group.
How were the iced Americano, watermelon juice and ₩12,000 mango bingsu?

✔️ Ordered: iced Americano (mild), watermelon juice, mango bingsu
The iced Americano tasted about the same as most other cafés — mild, and I liked that it wasn't very acidic! The watermelon juice was pleasantly sweet, and it tasted like it was made from actual blended watermelon rather than syrup. Taking a big sip of this on a hot summer day was a real sugar boost 🥲 Honestly, I liked the watermelon juice even more than the iced Americano.

The mango bingsu was ₩12,000, so the price was pretty reasonable! Because of that low price, it seemed like they were using frozen mango rather than real fresh mango, which was a bit disappointing. Still, since the price was so nice, I enjoyed it anyway haha.
If you're looking for a dessert café in Ansan, I'd recommend Flowerpot for its wide variety and good value 🤎🤎
