Yaksu Station charcoal dakgalbi in perilla wraps with soju-beer
Yaksu Chamsutbul Dakgalbi (약수참숯불닭갈비) is a charcoal-grilled dakgalbi (Korean spicy or marinated chicken) restaurant in an alley off Exit 10 of Yaksu Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. Two diners ordered 2 servings of homemade soy dakgalbi with a flying fish roe mayo rice ball and bibim makguksu (spicy buckwheat noodles), plus somaek (soju mixed with beer). The pre-grilled chicken was tender with no gamey smell, and the free side dishes, including aged kimchi and doenjang stew, were generous. Yaksu Chamsutbul Dakgalbi suits both a dinner and a casual drink near Yaksu Station.
