Yangju bakery café with Dubai chewy cookies and window views: Moonbird
In short
Moonbird is a large bakery café with floor-to-ceiling windows in Goeup-dong, Yangju, Gyeonggi Province. At Moonbird, the writer ordered a Dubai croissant, a Dubai chewy cookie (dujjonku), an Oreo chewy cookie and two iced Americanos. The chewy cookies were not quite to the writer's taste, but Moonbird's slightly acidic Americano paired well with the desserts, and the spacious interior and open window views were the highlight.

I was looking for a spacious café with a nice atmosphere in Yangju and ended up at Moonbird. The floor-to-ceiling windows give it an open feel, and there's a wide range of bakery items and desserts too. Today I'll show you what I ordered and what the inside looks like!

What are the outside and parking at Moonbird in Yangju like?

Moonbird is a bakery café with an exterior that shows off its big glass windows, and the parking lot is a little way up the slope from the building. The first thing you notice when you arrive is the exterior. With those windows, I was curious what the inside would be like. You can enjoy bakery items and desserts together here, so it's a nice place to come and spend some relaxed time.

There's parking just up a slight slope from the building, and I liked that there were plenty of spaces~
How big is the inside of Moonbird, and what are the window views like?

Inside, Moonbird is a wide space with roomy seating, and the big windows make it bright and airy. What I noticed the moment I walked in was how large the interior is. The seats are spaced out comfortably so it doesn't feel crowded, and the windows give the whole place a bright, cool feel. It's a good spot if you want to stay a while and enjoy sweet desserts with coffee.

Moonbird is a bakery café with a big interior, so it was great for taking my time. What caught my eye most was the wide-open view through the windows. They make the space look even bigger, and it felt comfortable, never stuffy. It's good for chatting with a friend over coffee, and a nice atmosphere for a relaxed dessert outing too.

What bakery items and cakes does Moonbird sell?
Besides coffee, Moonbird sells a variety of bakery items such as croissants, dutwonjjeonkku (Dubai chewy cookies, called "dujjonku" for short) and baked sweets. The croissants stood out, and the dujjonku and baked goods were on sale alongside them. With so many kinds of bread you can pick what suits you, and with this many bakery options it's a good place when you want desserts too, not just coffee.

There are plenty of cake slices too, so cake lovers should be happy here. From bread to cake there are so many choices that just browsing what to eat was fun.

Moonbird's signature drinks and non-coffee menu
Moonbird's signature drinks are the Moonbird latte, almond cream mocha and einspänner (coffee topped with whipped cream), and there are also non-coffee drinks and ice cream. Besides the bakery and cakes, the drink menu has so many options that it was hard to choose. With non-coffee drinks and ice cream available, it should be no trouble to visit with kids either.
How were the three Dubai-style desserts at Moonbird?
What I ordered at Moonbird was a Dubai croissant, a Dubai chewy cookie, an Oreo chewy cookie and two iced Americanos.
- Dubai croissant
- Dubai chewy cookie
- Oreo chewy cookie
- Iced Americano x2

These are the items I ordered. I love Dubai desserts, so I mostly picked Dubai ones.

Dubai chewy cookie, Oreo chewy cookie and iced Americano
Moonbird's dujjonku is worth a look if you like Dubai desserts or want to try something new. The chewy cookie wasn't the kind of flavor I usually enjoy, which was a bit of a shame, but the iced Americano used acidic beans, so it went nicely with the desserts~

Dubai croissant
I was curious about Moonbird's Dubai croissant because Dubai-style desserts are so popular these days. A crispy croissant combined with the Dubai style, so I expected a different charm from an ordinary bakery item. It was a dessert that goes well with coffee too.
Is Moonbird worth recommending as a large café in Yangju?
If you're looking for a spacious bakery café in Yangju with attractive window views, Moonbird is worth a visit. The large interior and wide-open windows were especially impressive, and it's also distinctive that kids and no-kids zones are separated. It's a good place when you want a variety of desserts, not just coffee. If you're searching for large-café desserts in Yangju, put Moonbird on your list :)
