Namhang Kkeutjip (남항끝집) near Yangjae Station is a place where you can enjoy meat comfortably, without breaking a sweat even in the sweltering summer. Let me introduce this all-time-great Yangjae Station BBQ spot!

The taste, the convenience, the comfortable space, and even a tip for turning it into a weekend date course! I'll sum it all up, so stick with me to the end!

Do you have to grill your own meat at Namhang Kkeutjip?
The quality of 100% domestic Korean pork, with the comfort of meat that arrives already grilled
When you order meat at Namhang Kkeutjip, the kitchen grills it perfectly and sends it out to your table grill. At most BBQ places, someone has to stay busy grilling and can't focus on the conversation, and the heat from the grill and the smoke often make things unpleasant, right?

But! At Namhang Kkeutjip, the meat is grilled perfectly in the kitchen and served to you! Here are the main meats.
- Salt-grilled meat (pork belly + pork neck): the signature menu! You get rich, savory pork belly and tender pork neck at the same time.
- Hangjeongsal (pork jowl): a cut loved for its crunchy, chewy texture and savory fat
- Pork skin: it comes out chewy and sweet-salty, and there's no better snack to go with drinks

Once the meat arrives on the grill at the table, all we have to do is eat and enjoy, which was so easy and relaxing.

Since the meat really isn't grilled in the dining room, the whole interior of Namhang Kkeutjip had no meat smoke or that clinging smell, and it felt really comfortable and clean.

How was the pork neck at Namhang Kkeutjip?
Among the salt-grilled meats at Namhang Kkeutjip, the pork neck was especially surprising. The meat was really good overall! When I asked the owner, he said they use only 100% domestic Korean pork! And the moment I took a bite of the pork neck, I was amazed.

It had zero dryness and was packed with juice, so it was really tender with a pleasant chew.

Savory flavor and moisture fill your whole mouth. It was so good I'd call it the best pork neck of my life!!!
What side dishes come with BBQ at Namhang Kkeutjip?
Neat side dishes and muksabal to bring out the flavor of the meat

The side dishes at Namhang Kkeutjip are myeongina (wild garlic-chive pickle), kimchi, minari (water dropwort), and a refreshing muksabal (chilled acorn jelly soup). It's not only the main meat: the lineup and quality of the side dishes were great too!

You get tangy, salty myeongina that wipes away the greasiness of the meat, well-fermented kimchi, and fragrant minari.

Lightly grilling the minari with the meat and wrapping them together was really delicious! Full marks for this combination.

The short walk from the station was hot, so getting a cold muksabal was a stroke of genius!
Minari bibim milmyeon and aged pork skin at Namhang Kkeutjip
A taste of Busan, minari bibim milmyeon (spicy mixed wheat noodles), and chewy, bouncy aged pork skin
What we ate that day at Namhang Kkeutjip was a salt-grilled platter (500g), minari bibim milmyeon, an extra salt-grilled half-platter (350g), and aged pork skin (150g). It was so delicious that we came all this way and

The minari bibim milmyeon and the aged pork skin were both delicious. The milmyeon noodles were soft, topped with plenty of fragrant minari in a sweet and spicy sauce, just right to eat with the meat.

I especially recommend trying the aged pork skin at least once!

The texture was wonderfully soft and chewy, clinging to your mouth. It was art!
