Ingye-dong gukbap with table kiosks and clean restrooms: Jeju Eunhuine

In short

Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a haejangguk (hangover soup) restaurant in Ingye-dong, Suwon, a 2-minute walk from Exit 8 of Suwon City Hall Station. A kiosk sits on every table, and the order here was naejangtang (beef tripe soup) and the dombegogi (Jeju-style boiled pork) with yangmuchim (seasoned tripe salad) set, backed by a self-serve corner with free rice, vending machine coffee, a baby chair and a toothpick dispenser. The rich broth and the standout yangmuchim make Jeju Eunhuine an easy recommendation for a filling meal.

I had a delicious bowl of haejangguk (hangover soup) in Suwon, so I'm bringing you a post to recommend as a Suwon restaurant! While looking for a hearty meal in Ingye-dong, Suwon, I found a haejangguk spot, so let me share an honest review after trying the hot broth and generous menu 😊 To tell you the name of the restaurant first, it's Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch.

Where is Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch, and where do you park?

Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a 2-minute walk from Exit 8 of Suwon City Hall Station. It's open weekdays 10am–10:30pm, weekends 9am–9:30pm, with last order 30 minutes before closing, and it's closed the day before and day of major holidays.

I drove there! You can park right in front of the store, and if it's full, there's underground parking in the building!

Spacious, clean interior of Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch
Dining hall with generous spacing between tables

The interior was just as clean, spacious, and pleasant as in the photos above! It's close to Suwon City Hall Station so it's convenient by public transit, and since parking is available, it's not much hassle for those driving either. The space is wide with decent gaps between tables, so it seemed good for family meals or gatherings with friends too.

Basic side dishes: kkakdugi, peppers, and minced garlic

Side dishes and ordering from the table kiosk

The side dishes at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch are a basic lineup: kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi), peppers, and minced garlic. Orders are placed via the kiosk set up at each table.

The side dishes came out first! Just the basics — kkakdugi, peppers, and minced garlic.

There's a menu board on the wall too, but it was more convenient to browse the menu through the kiosk at each table! I ordered the naejangtang (tripe soup) and the dombegogi + yangmuchim set.

Free rice at the self-serve corner

There's a self-serve corner, and the rice there is free~!! Free rice at a haejangguk/gukbap restaurant?! So great haha. There's even a baby chair and vending machine coffee!

How do the naejangtang, dombegogi and yangmuchim taste?

The naejangtang and dombegogi at Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch came out together at once. They say the haejangguk uses a rich beef bone broth simmered for 24 hours.

The meat and the tripe soup both came out together at once, steam rising off them looking delicious. I wasn't expecting much from the yangmuchim, but the color looked so appetizing my expectations shot up~

A steaming bowl of naejangtang
Plate of Jeju-style dombegogi and yangmuchim

They say the haejangguk uses a rich beef bone broth simmered for a full 24 hours! It's packed with seonji (blood tofu), fresh bean sprouts, and beef tripe.

This is Jeju-style 'dombegogi' — the soft, chewy texture and clean flavor were excellent. The yangmuchim I hadn't expected much from turned out to be the best of the best! If you have no appetite, this would bring it right back. It felt like an all-purpose seasoned dish that would be great mixed with somyeon (thin wheat noodles) too?!

The food came out quickly after ordering, so busy office workers can visit without worry :) They said between 11am–12pm or after 2pm you can eat more leisurely~

It had a clean, mild flavor~ And the portions are generous too haha.

The seonji was clean, the tripe was clean too, and it came with black rice, which I love!!

Wrapping the dombegogi with yangmuchim like this 🤤 it was so good I automatically thought I should have ordered the bigger size.

Restrooms and hygiene touches

The restroom was genuinely great haha. A clean restroom inside a restaurant is an absolute pass in my book lol. The toothpicks are managed hygienically through a dispenser, and there were individually wrapped mint candies for a convenient after-meal freshen-up!

Why Jeju Eunhuine is worth a meal in Ingye-dong, Suwon

Overall, I was satisfied from the food to the store atmosphere to the amenities! The naejangtang had a rich broth and generous ingredients, making it a hearty meal, and I felt glad I'd ordered the dombegogi and yangmuchim as separate menu items. Especially the yangmuchim, with its tangy yet nutty flavor, paired really well eaten alongside the gukbap.

If you're craving a hot, rich broth and looking for a hearty restaurant in Ingye-dong, Suwon, I recommend Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch! Next time I'd like to visit again to try not just the naejangtang but the dombegogi and other menu items too 😊
