Nadeulmok Yeoju Ssalbap is a Korean restaurant in Yeoju, Gyeonggi, serving Yeoju-rice hot-stone-pot meals and braised cutlassfish sets. After waiting during the lunch rush, I had braised cutlassfish, spicy stir-fried pork, soybean-paste stew, and plentiful side dishes for 25,000 won per person. Verdict: a satisfying choice for a generous family meal in Yeoju.
bd Burger is a handmade burger restaurant near Seongsu Station in Seongdong, Seoul. I tried the juicy Double Cheese Burger, Big-Size Wasabi Shrimp Burger, butter garlic fries, and a milkshake. A filling pick for a Seongsu lunch or date meal.
Low Five Anguk is a pizza and pasta restaurant near Anguk Station in Jongno, Seoul. I ordered corn-and-taco half-and-half pizza, shrimp spicy rigatoni, and kimchi fried rice without waiting. Verdict: a casual, tasty stop before or after a Bukchon stroll.
