Why I took my husband to 007 Optical in Namdaemun
007 Optical (007안경원) is on the ground floor of Sangdong Church on Namdaemun-ro, near Hoehyeon Station. My husband's glasses were so old, and I kept watching him wear them without getting new ones, haha... so I begged him to please get glasses and dragged him to Namdaemun.
It has also shown up on YouTube with a celebrity I like.. (?) and a famous veteran actor!! Lots of well-known people apparently visit, so let me tell you about our visit to 007 Optical in Namdaemun.

007 Optical is close to Hoehyeon Station, so it's easy to reach by public transport, and the inside is clean, pleasant and much bigger than I expected. But it was very crowded that day, and we waited a long time.
Every seat was taken.. haha I've never seen an optician this full, hehe. That must mean it's famous and they do a good job, right!? Anyway, while we waited we took our time picking out my husband's frames.

How long does it take to make glasses at 007 Optical in Namdaemun?
It took about 40 minutes for my husband's glasses to be ready at 007 Optical in Namdaemun. These are the glasses he worked so hard to pick after trying on everything! Just for reference.
If you wander around Namdaemun Market and grab some bunsik (Korean snack food) while you wait, the time flies:)
Oh, but they didn't give us a lens cloth! If you go, don't forget to check!
