My husband and I were both stuffed from a big lunch, so we decided to keep dinner light and searched for a salad place, which led us to this Nowon salad spot! It's called Prefers Diet Food. It was my first time hearing of it, but my husband said it's popular with young people these days?! Seriously.. was I the only one who didn't know again..( ᵕ - ᵕ̩̩ ) Anyway, let me introduce the salad place we were really happy with!!

While we waited, lots of people kept coming in for dinner? Am I the only one who's never been.. Some came to eat alone, and since it's salads, the turnover is fast too. There was no waiting the evening I went.
How is the iced americano in the Prefers combo?
The iced americano I swapped in for +₩1,000 was rich and nutty, better than I expected. I rushed home, unwrapped everything and dug in. It's a salad place, so honestly I had no expectations for the americano? But it's rich, nutty and totally delicious, my style!
Chicken Plate Salad: chicken breast with salsa sauce
First I drizzled salsa sauce over my chicken breast~ My husband's beef salad came with lemon garlic sauce for dipping! See how plump the chicken breast is?
The chicken breast in the Prefers Chicken Plate Salad wasn't dry at all, it was moist and tender, and it had no smell whatsoever, which amazed me as I ate!! I'm a bit sensitive to meat smell. No smell, so it passes right away!! The chicken pieces were big, the vegetables were fresh, and the salsa sauce went especially well with this dish. The sweet potato and sweet pumpkin salad wasn't too sweet and tasted good too.
Beef Cobb Plate: flat iron steak and a slightly small portion
The beef steak in the Prefers Beef Cobb Plate is beef chuck flap (bucchaesal), and it had no smell at all either!? The thickness was just right, and the meat was tender and soft. I thought salsa sauce went better with the beef than the lemon garlic sauce it comes with, so I dipped it in the leftover sauce from my dish. It was so good that I stole some of my husband's haha.
However, we both felt the salad portion was a bit small, so next time we'll need to add extra salad. I'm a big eater, but my husband, who actually eats less, also said it wasn't quite enough. Just so you know!
